The undead army will be a place our Mc, Jyron, spends a lot of time. During his time he won't be pretending to be weak. Each skeleton in the necromancers army has an opportunity to climb the chain of command by killing and absorbing the death energy or "exp" for our Mc.

As they get power the Necromancer will award them rewards through the seniority of army. Bone generals head a legion of death knights and Lichs that control groups of commanders who control captains.

Once a skeleton gets to the commander level it can be smart enough to communicate through speech.

This is how the chain of command will work in my novel. If anyone can think of anything better I'm open to criticism and suggestions
