Endeavor narrowed his eyes at his son's rebellion. "We shall see…"

As soon as the words left his mouth, the Todoroki father and son's limo came to a sudden, screeching halt.

Shoto caught himself before he went tumbling to the car floor when he heard the angered yelling of their driver at the front.

"What the heck are you doing?! You trying to get yourself killed, or something?!"

The red-and-white haired boy looked out his window to see the figure in the green hoodie, hurrying away from the limo and its raving driver.

Shota kept his eye on where the figure was as they drove away, catching the attention of the flame-faced adult before him.

"What is it?" His father questioned, snapping Shota out of his stupor.

"…It's nothing." The boy answered, turning back to continue staring into space.

As he did, he couldn't shake the feeling that the stranger in green seemed familiar…

-------------------------------

Deku rushed past an endless crowd of people on the sidewalk, all looking at him with curious and judging eyes.

It made the villain child's already enflamed anxiety all the worse as he headed toward the least populated area he could find.

An alleyway between two large buildings. The boy rushed down the narrow space, panting heavily from the run, as well as his spiralling thoughts and feelings.

He planted his back against a brick wall and slid down to the pavement ground beneath him, burying his head in his arms, huddling himself into a ball.

His mind was abuzz with all the things the people were saying about him. What he'd done, what he should have done, what they thought of him…

What his mother must think of him…

The sudden clutter of tumbling trashcans snapped Deku out of his thoughts. He looked to his left to see a rare sight for any.

A woman, wearing a red Chinese dress, with a black fur scarf wrapped over her left shoulder, and three flower stems sticking out of the back of her head, where a tussled ponytail could be seen.

But what also could be seen, was the giant gash in the woman's side, oozing with crimson as she held onto the wound as much as she could.

Deku, being the human hero encyclopedia that he was, immediately knew who this woman was, and instantly rushed to her aid. "Madame Bouquet!"

The flower heroine snapped her head up, her face pale from fright, as well as the loss of blood. "S-Stay back!"

The green-haired boy stopped in his tracks at the shrill fear in her voice, as Bouquet fell into a fit of gargled coughing.

Deku started to quickly analyze the situation. Why didn't she want help? Did she know who he was? Did she know he was a villain?

He shook his head. The woman was clearly terrified beyond recognizing anyone in front of her.

Madame Bouquet then started to collapse to the floor, crimson spilling from her lips as she held a hand to her mouth.

Deku quickly rushed toward her again, catching her before she collapsed to the ground. He laid her against the wall of the ally, taking her fur scarf to try and stop the wound in her side from bleeding.

But there was so much…so much blood…

Apart from the enormous wound in her side, Madame Bouquet was also covered in numerous scratches and cuts all over her body.

Whoever had done this to her, they were able to cut through her Kevlar re-enforced dress, like the young villain's waistcoat and slacks.

But who… or even what… could do this kind of damage to a seasoned hero like her?!

The boy shook himself out of his shock and thoughts. Right now, he had to do something.

He had come to Hosu City to get away from the authorities and press hunting him down, and being around a heavily wounded hero was not going to help him blend in as he wanted to.

Leaving her be and disappearing would be the proper thing a villain would do…

But once again, Deku found himself helping someone else out of pure instinct.

He lifted the heroine's arm over his shoulder, and led her out of the ally, careful not to let anyone notice him as he did.

Completely unaware of the pair of menacing, bloodshot eyes, hidden behind a torn, ragged mask of worn cloth, looking down from up high as he did…

-------------------------------

The Padme Hotel; a five-star resort which has been a hot spot for tourism and international business since its grand opening.

The extravagant lodging is known for its impossibly priced rooms, not to mention the fanciful dining experience the hotel offers in its ever-popular restaurant and bar.

Only the wealthiest of individuals could be lucky enough to book a place in such a grandiose establishment.

Which proved to be the best place for the likes of one of the most infamous villains being looked for to hide out in.

After dropping Madame Bouquet at a nearby police station in the city, Deku headed straight for his main destination.

The authorities would no doubt be searching the more dingy and decrepit parts of the county, not thinking for a moment that the Quirkless criminal would be hiding away in such a place of extravagance as this.

The boy made his way to the front desk, ignoring the stares and murmurs from the more upper-crust guests of the establishment.

He approached the desk, where a receptionist, a sour-looking male, with a face that looked like it had been flattened by an iron, skimmed through a computer screen in front of him, paying little mind to the green hooded boy before him.

Deku waited patiently for the custodian to take notice of him, only for the awkward wait to be dragged out.

He then spotted the bell to one side of the desk and gave it a ring.

The flat-faced employee finally looked up, a bored look adorning his pancake-like features, as he turned from the screen and faced the young villain. "Can I help you?"

"Yes, I'd like to book a room, please…" The Quirkless child answered.

The flat-faced receptionist looked the boy up and down, unimpressed by his casual wear, before speaking once more. "And what kind of room would you like, sir?"

"A single room," Deku continued, ignoring the employee's rudeness.

"King-sized bed, refrigerator, private bathroom…something like that?"

The receptionist gave a light scowl as he typed into the computer to check what was available. "We have a single, king-sized room on the 35th floor. Would that suffice?"

"Perfect!" The green-haired boy beamed.

"And how will you be paying for your room today, sir?" The receptionist droned.

A stack of yen bills was placed on the desk before the receptionist, whose eyes shot wide open at the bold payment.

"Cash." The Quirkless villain smirked.

-------------------------------

A few minutes later, Deku found himself in one of the many ritzy rooms the high-class hotel offered.

Once he closed the door, he threw his bags onto the large waited bed, then flopped onto the soft, welcoming mattress himself, sighing as he sunk into the quilt and pillows.

After relishing the softness of the bed for a little while longer, Deku turned himself over, staring up at the ceiling of the room.

Now that he had found a safe haven, at least for the moment, he figured now was the perfect time to get his thoughts in order.

The boy gasped at his tangled green locks, shutting his eyes tight in anguish and regret.

When he first fell into villainy, Deku felt so sure… So positive that this world of lawlessness was where he belonged.

It gave him the chance that society never did.

He found friends and teachers, who gave him the respect and encouragement he had always wanted.

A place where his knowledge and newfound skills could be put to use.

He even gained a newfound purpose; to expose Katsuki Bakugo for the violent, self-glorified piece of garbage that he truly was…And he succeeded!

…But now…it felt like he no longer had a purpose
