Deku stepped out of the swirling darkness, walking into his dingy apartment on the bad side of the city.

The portal vanished behind him, leaving him alone in the one room, one bathroom complex.

The boy simply stood there, his emerald eyes stared off into space with his face blank of any emotion whatsoever, as memories of his recent action replayed in his mind over and over again.

The look on Bakugo's face when the video started to play.

The horror he showed when he finally revealed himself.

The way he outmanoeuvred the bomb boy so easily in front of the whole crowd.

The mirth and fulfilment he felt when he exposed the blonde for who he truly was.

The fear in his eyes as he pinned him to the ground.

The way his blood splattered across the ring as he wailed on him for what felt like an eternity.

The screams of fright and panic from the audience as they were forced to watch.

The broken-hearted look on his mother's face, when she saw him again after so long.

"...Heh...hehehehe...hehehehahahaha...hahahahahaha...hahahaHAHAHAHAHA...HAHAHAHAHAHA...AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...!"

Deku's face split with a manic smile across his face. His laughter was enough to fill the small apartment.

He gripped at his green locks as he cackled, stumbling on his feet as he let his laughter overtake him.

He threw his head to the ceiling, madness shining in his eyes as he continued to let his laughter grow, and grow, and grow...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The sun was beginning to set, casting the UA Sports Stadium in an orange glow.

Civilians who had arrived for the event were led out of the arena with the help of heroes and police officers, who had arrived on the scene to help in any way they could.

A tense silence filled the air, with barely anyone saying a word over what had occurred just moments ago.

Out on the field, a team of paramedics helped a battered, beaten, and unconscious Katsuki Bakugo onto a stretcher.

The boy was lifted off of the ground, his body covered in bandages and an oxygen mask fastened over his face.

Masaru held onto his wife, who could only watch as her son was guided toward an ambulance with fearful eyes.

Her general concern for her child was overtaking the concern she had for his actions shown on screen.

The video had finally been shut off, as the heroes found a series of flash drives located in the processing room of the stadium.

The bomb boy's mother always knew her son had a bit of a superiority complex, but she never knew that Katsuki had taken it so far over all these years.

She didn't know what to think at the moment.

Masaru patted her shoulder, letting her know that they could now join their son.

Before the glycerin woman could approach the white van, she realised that someone was missing.

"Wait...where's Inko?"

Mitsuki looked around and spotted the green-haired woman standing in the middle of the ring.

She told her husband that she would join her in a second, and walked over to where her friend stood.

As she climbed up onto the platform, she spotted a puddle of dried blood off to the side.

Her son's blood... Izuku's blood...

It was still so foreign to her.

Izuku, the innocent little green bean who wouldn't hurt a fly, was now the infamous villain who had sent countless heroes to the ER and committed numerous crimes across the city.

Who beat her boy into a coma in front of the whole country.

All because her son wanted to hurt him, for not being like everyone else.

The blonde woman shook her head, trying to focus on the matter at hand.

Mitsuki approached the stout woman in the ring, seeing that she was holding something in her hands.

It was Izuku's ruined hoodie, with the rabbit ears still attached.

Inko didn't seem to notice her being there, so Mitsuki chanced to say something. "I-Inko?"

If the distraught mother heard her, she didn't show it, still keeping her focus on the scorched clothing n her hands.

The glycerin woman reached a hand out to her, placing it on the green-haired woman's shoulder." Inko, are you-"

"DON'T TOUCH ME!"

Mitsuki immediately withdrew her hand, as Inko reeled around on her.

Her face was contorted in a look of rage that Mitsuki had never seen before.

The blonde mother found herself taking a step back at the intimidating sight.

"This is all your fault!" Inko roared. "You and that horrible little monster of yours! Did you know?! Did you know about what he'd been doing to him?!"

"N-No!" Mitsuki quickly defended herself. "Inko, no! I swear, I-"

"How could you let him get away with all this?!" The distraught mother continued to rage, turning around and staring her friend down with daggers in her eyes.

"How could you let him hurt my baby?!"

Mitsuki couldn't find an answer to Inko's rage-fueled questions.

All she could do was stand there and take it.

"Was my boy wanting to be a hero so bad, that he deserved to be burnt and blown up?!" Inko demanded, tears starting to form in her eyes.

She tore her eyes away from the blonde mother, holding her son's discarded clothing close.

The one thing she had of him in the last lonely year.

"I-Inko..." Mitsuki attempted to reach out to her one more time, hating to see the usually timid and kind woman in such a state.

"Just go, Mitsuki..." Inko ordered through her tears. "Go...and don't ever speak to me again."

Mitsuki felt her heart shatter for the third time that day.

After witnessing everything her son did to Izuku in secret, to seeing her boy getting brutalized by his childhood friend.

The glycerin woman couldn't find anything else to say, so she complied with her friend...or former friend's...wishes, turned, and left her alone.

Inko let her tears fall, burying her face into her son's torn hoodie, wishing that it was him more than she ever had before.

"Izuku...my baby...!"

Up in the private student bleachers, Ochako looked down at the grieving mother, her heart going out to her.

She, among the rest of class 1-A, was still reeling from the events that had occurred only moments ago.

It felt like it would take forever for her to get her thoughts straight after this.

"Ochako?" The gravity girl turned to face Itsuka, who looked at her with a concerned expression. "You okay?"

The brunette thought about how to answer, only to find nothing and shook her head. "I don't know..."

Itsuka nodded in understanding, wishing there was something she could do for the gravity girl.

Kirishima watched from over the railing, as Bakugo was being loaded into the back of an ambulance, with his parents climbing in behind him.

"So, Kirishima, got anything to say in 'Baku-bro's' defence now?" Jiro inquired harshly behind the hard-skinned boy.

"Leave me alone..." The redhead muttered solemnly as he lowered his head.

"Jiro..." Mina placed a hand on the ear jack girl's shoulder, hoping to stop her.
