Annie was not a believer in the supernatural. Or the paranormal. In her mind, the horror of the Vietnam War was far away in the hot climates of Asia, in the deep jungles. The shadows loomed over the fallen soldiers. President Jimmy Carter was on the verge of defeat against actor turned politician, Ronald Reagan. Annie walked along the road. As she did so, she saw a green colored Jeep. She smiled at the mysterious driver.
'Camp Crystal Lake', she said.
The driver drove past the camp.
'Hey, wasn't that the sign to Camp Crystal Lake back there?', she asked the driver. She was ignored. With a feeling of unease, Annie took off her seatbelt. And jumped out of the passenger-side door. As she felt the burst of pain up her right leg, she limped towards the deep woods. The killer stopped the Jeep. She took off the seatbelt. Then she grabbed the sharp knife. Annie fell. 'No...Please, no!'. The knife slashed across her throat, and her body thudded to the wet, muddy, ground. Annie died knowing that the death curse of Camp Crystal Lake was real.
