Chapter 1 - The Lone Wolf

Spending summer holidays alone was a disaster even for a great problem solver and a master time passer like Advitya.

All of his friends were out for a vacation and he was sulking in the hostel. But what could he do?

Everything was boring. He thought about his helplessness and then in a deep way thought about himself. Who was he?

A memory came in his mind of his grandfather leaving him and both his siblings in hostel. His thought process turned and he started thinking about his parents, how did they die? He was told that they had died in a fire accident but he didn't believe that.

Another side there was a shy, determined and ambitious boy entering his new hostel with big dreams and visions. Moving in a confident way as he was (unlike his nature), after asking about where his room was, his hands shivered and legs trembled. He was supposed to live with a student who was infamous for beating a student so hard that he lost consciousness.

While thinking, Advitya was distributed by a door knock. Tch, tch... "Who's this," he asked. The stranger who was the ambitious, shy boy said reassuringly in a low pitch, "Well, I'm just a new transfer student, Vishva, and I have been alloted this room number so.." "Ok, ok, wait, I am opening the door," said Advitya.

As the door opened Vishva, who was told horrible things about Advitya was shocked to see that he had a very kind face. His eyes were unusually golden with long black hair and a not - so sharp shaped jaw. Advitya too was shocked from the looks of this new arrival. Vishva had deep brown and broad eyes, brownish - blonde hair and a pulpy jaw. His looks were showing an image of a tension free prankster boy.

'Don't judge a book by it's cover!'

This saying could be applied on the situation as Vishva was, by nature a shy boy. He was as shy as a pulpy red tomato. He just sat on his new bed, placed his things and lied down on it, pretending to be asleep and not even saying a word.

Advitya, on the other hand was just shocked and kept staring him for almost ten minutes like he had been frozen. Vishva saw that and thought that his roommate was a 'Lone Wolf' and wasn't fond of people staying in his room like that. He thought that this guy would make his life hell if he stayed in the room!

After the summer vacation ended Vishva was a bit unsure about what he was told about Advitya. He noticed that he was not rude and talked with him for a little while. He thought to ask him about the truth as they were both in the same class.

His first day at new school started quite well. He was introduced to everyone in the class and sat besides a moderate boy named Manan. It was time for the first period, of History.

A teacher came in the class who was told to be Mr. Charles by Manan. He was a humorous, kind and creative teacher who was teaching with very interactive ways. He easily became Vishva's favourite teacher. Mr. Charles saw some talent in Vishva for History so he told Vishva to come to the History room in recess.

In the recess Vishva was about to ask Advitya when he remembered that Mr. Charles told him to come to the History room in recess. So instead of asking he went there. Advitya felt something awkward so he followed him.

When Vishva arrived at the History room, Mr. Charles told him to come in. There were around ten students in the room. He saw that his twin sister Diksha was also there. (They both came to this school together) Mr. Charles said, "So students there will be a role play in the annual function about Ashoka the great.I will give you your roles tomorrow in the zero period, here. Looking forward towards your support."

As they all started to leave to their classes Mr. Charles stopped Vishva and Diksha. He said, "You two will get special roles" and smiled in an evil way. They both felt that something was wrong and stepped back to take a run when he came swiftly and closed the door. He took out a knife and pointed it towards them.
