Before a word could be said, the stranger immediately left the scene.
Cassandra ran into her parent's open arms with tears in her eyes, amidst the tears, she begged her parents to save Brandon and the old lady.
Brandon and the old lady were taken inside for proper treatment.

'Cassy, tell us what happened and leave no details' the king said to his daughter while his wife held her close.
'Brandon and I took a stroll to the market, but then I got hungry so we decided to look for a food cart, we found one, it belonged to that old lady who was brought here, we ordered what to eat and things were going perfectly well until we started seeing people scampering for safety, at first we thought it was a little commotion but then we saw blood stains on some of the villagers, and that was when we also started running.
We had no idea we were being followed by the people who caused the commotion, and when we realized, it was already too late, we were at a dead-end.
Brandon and the old lady fought to protect me but got badly hurt in the end, Cassandra said while in tears, her mom and siblings tried to comfort her.
'Cassy', her dad called meekly
'What else happened?' Lucius asked her gently
'I was about to be grabbed by them when all of a sudden, the stranger appeared out of the blue and rescued us, I don't remember anything else', Cassy said.
Lucius sighed not satisfied with the answer, he knew there was something else but he didn't know what, he couldn't force the little girl so he had only one option, which was to wait till Brandon gained consciousness
