Chapter 40 - C224: Night Raid (Part 2)

Chapter 224: Night Raid (Part 2)

Rison's perspective

It had been a while since I broke into the enemy camp alongside my buddy Marines. To say in short, it's difficult to hide the enemies, not killing but hiding 'em. They're patrolling around, I cannot kill one easily, unless I find a site to hide his body, not to let them know and be aware of us.

Right now I'm sneaking behind bunches of wooden crates, in front of a small tent ahead of me.  Two spearmen can be seen patrolling around the camp... they're just away from me not so far, but it's dangerous for me to work.

This time must be the 9th evening bell, most of the people have gone to sleep right now. So does the enemy. However, their security in this small camp is quite tight, I need at least one buddy to cooperate with me if I want to succeed. But all of us had set up the way we should go from the beginning, it's hard.

"I'm going to nap, man".  "Whistles... this night, looks not too bad".  "Call me back after 10 minutes, ya". - When I was behind the crates, hiding. All of sudden, one of the spearmen informed his comrade that he would nap

Not so long later, that one sits on the ground and starts sleeping. While his comrade sits on the ground, seems to be bored guarding the tent without anyone to talk with. "Hmmm... my chance?", I asked myself. It's a good chance for me to break in.

But I must kill them by using methods that won't leave the blood. So that, I drag out a long line of rope, taken from the equipment of my left side belt. This rope seems fine.

When I'm sure the two of them have lost their concentration in their duties, slowly I head to 'em, with silent footsteps. Closer, closer till I get behind the two of them, I think about killing the two by myself... without leaving evidence, must do it.

Not good... I slowly put the rope back. Because I must do it swiftly, strangling one of these men will surely make the other wake up and react in time against my attacks. Because of that, I pull out my dagger and slowly crouch. Slowly approaching the one on the right first.

"Urrrghhh!".  "Ummm... ummm... ummm... ummm...". - His armor had an exposed part on his nape, so I stabbed that side while covering his mouth, he died slowly

"Ummmm! Ummm! Ummm!". - Done killing the first one, I stabbed the second one's throat since he was sitting with his back pressing on the tent while being stabbed

After killing the two of them, I drag them, making them sit with their backs pressing on the small tent. Just like that, I made them look like were dozing, made a fake scene.

By this time, the tent's area only has I standing outside and alone. I glance around to make sure there's no one around the tent anymore. Later, I go into the tent quietly while crouching to reduce noise. Inside is quite dark.

According to my vision, inside the tent is very dark. Not too many lanterns are put inside the place, as if it was intended to be put like that to make soldiers easy to go to sleep. Along my path, mats can be seen placed on both sides. These soldiers are sitting on them to sleep. They seem to have slept for a while now.

I slowly sneak forward, there are cabinets and a desk on the right side which seem to be the intel places. While sneaking toward the desk, I open my ears to hear the noises... seem like they're all sleeping, no more dangerous.

"Alright". - Just in a short time, I reached the desk

Although being divided, and having to infiltrate different sides of the tent alone, seem like other operatives haven't been caught. Then there's no need to be rushed, I think so.

I slowly look at the desk's surface, but only see the fur papers alongside the pens lying all around. Before picking up anything, I check my back to make sure I'm still very safe in here... good.

I slowly pick up the fur papers, shortly take a look. Hmmm... seems like I've found something. They seemed to have thought about sending these things to their King. The things I'm holding are the war letters. The enemies ask for more troops in these letters, luckily these things haven't been sent yet.

Done reading, I scroll those fur letters and hide them in my sleeves. I should've carried a mini handbag on this mission instead of wearing nothing to stuff things. However, I neglect that problem, slowly checking on the cabinets. I pull out the wooden drawers, hmmm...

"There's a map, huh?". - I found a map that has red dots on the surface... it seems to lead to other camps or something

Glancing at the map for a while, I notice a very big red dot which is located in the deep south of Tod forest. Because of the darkness in the room, I cannot see well the words written on the map.

However, this map and the letters are important intel for all of us. The map is made of fur, so I have to scroll it, slowly put it on my belt. Alright... I turn back without seeing anyone. This is a good time to escape, must do it.

A short time later, I managed to sneak outside of the tent successfully. Alright, moving to the next tent, quietly.

"Sniff! Sniff! Sniff! Ahhh... her scent is the best".  "Ahem...". - While crouching and moving, I sniffed the very stinky odor of Tina's red scarf, which makes my mind ecstatic

But I know I must focus, so I hold myself back. Getting out of that tent and its nearby area, I move to the North. While crouching and moving toward the crates which area seems to be empty, I see something on my path.

Turned out they were a group of enemy patrollers. Their torches can be distinguished moving alongside them, just away from me about 40 meters, not good right now. Hmmm... there's a small wooden cart on the far right.

I immediately head there and attempt to hide in the cart. However, the space on it is covered with bunches of huge stones, which seem to be served to... seize? Maybe. Then, this cart must be one of many carts which are the "ammo" to reload their catapults or something?

But there's no way a cart that carries stones can be seen here because around here has no other carts or even a proper catapult. This one must been left here by a mistake, must not wander around here anymore.

However, the enemy is too near me. Now it's impossible to find anywhere else to hide. Risking my life, I crawl under the cart, hoping I'll get out here alive. Help me, Tina!

Their footsteps are approaching here closer than ever before. Calming down my nervousness, I press my body on the grass, staying like I'm dead, no movement.

"What's this?". - They've come, one of them is walking around the cart, I feel it

"It must've been left here by mistakes, Sir".  "Should we move the cart away?".

"Where did you put the carts?".

"Ummm... nearby the siege machines, Sir".

"Where to?". - I heard the sounds of the leader of this patrol group picking up a stone and bouncing it on his hand or something

"Uhhh... I don't know, Sir".  "That work belongs to our suppliers, so y-".

"But cannot leave it here".  "C'mon, you move the cart". - The leader walked away, another guy took his place

"Urrrrrgggghh!!!".  "Urrrrrgggghh!!!".  "I'm sorry, Sir! I can't".  "Arrrrghhh...".  "My hand still hurts, I cannot move it alone".

"Fucking slow head...".  "All of you help the guy, we don't have much time to waste".  "Tomorrow, will have to siege that fortress, and head to the castle to capture it".  "Remember, girls are in that place, even the Princess... than all of us can imagine".  "The one who takes the Lord's head, will meat his wife, as long as he wants".  "Understand? You stupid?!!!".

"Yes, Sir!".

"So move all of you, or your laziness will kill y'all before tomorrow's siege".

Hearing his order, the spearmen of that group head to the cart. They start pulling the cart forward, and do that easily because they have men. Just shortly after that, my body has been exposed to these men. But seems like they're too busy to pull the cart instead of caring for my existence on their backs.

Seeing their leader is observing and his soldiers are pulling the cart. All of 'em are now ahead, when I'm lying on the ground, just behind them. Alright, I must escape. Slowly watching their movement, I start crawling horizontally. Now I'm on the left side.

"Wait a minute". - I was startled as I heard his voice, his soldiers glanced at him and stopped pulling the cart

"I forgot this one".  "We're ordered not to kill the Lord of that fortress at all cost, only have to... capture him".

"Then if we accidentally kill t-".

"Killing that man will give you an instant death".  "I don't know why, but that's our ally's order, do not kill John Rigen".  "By the way... we can tie him, let him see we fuck with his wife, it'll be very fun".  "Heh heh heh heh".

"You want us to join too, Sir?".

"Of course...".  "Not just women in the castle, bunches of 'em also become soldiers... I'm sure they taste fine too, heh heh heh".  "Kill one, have a woman, that's your reward".

"Now come on! Move!".

Those spearmen nod to their leader and move the cart forward shortly. I was waiting for the guy to go away but he kept standing there even though his men had gone far. Using that moment, I silently crawl to that side and remain to stay there. This guy hasn't gone yet, must let him pass.

"Keep dreaming, young boys...".  "They're all mine".  "All of you will die in the frontline after all".  "To think about women... haahhhhh!". - Later he raised his head, breathing out his hot breathe, showing me as if this guy was high on drugs

Later, this guy went away to keep up with his soldiers. Honestly to say, I'll surely kill him if his soldiers weren't caring about their leader's disappearance. Because Tina is mine, only I can have her.

Hmmm... I used too much of my emotions. Must calm down, use my mind instead. Okay, now I must move on.

When I turn back, behind me is another bunch of Attenta enemy patrollers. It's good when they're away from me a bit far so I can handle it. Sharpening my mind while looking at the routes ahead, I pick the right side so I move on swiftly. This must be the right path, must keep moving.

"Hmmm!". - While sneaking on that route, I found a figure standing on the route ahead

As my fighting mode turns me on, I draw my bow and arrows, shortly targeting him. Turned out... I missed him, because that guy is not an enemy soldier. He's a Spec Ops operative just like me.

That Marine guy seems to be Hopard - also a member of my unit who was appointed to do this mission. He spotted my existence, even saw me targeting him with my bow but he didn't care to look.

"I found a map of No Man Zone... you?". - Hopard crouched, approaching me while showing me a map. That fur map's about No Man Zone, it has red lines on its surface, and it was hidden on Hopard's back

"Here, and here". - I showed him the war letters and the map that I found

"Good...".  "We should return to our Commander, do you think so?".

"What, man?". - Why did he ask me that?

"We haven't been compromised yet".  "But listen... these intel are very important".  "We must return to send them back to him".  "That place is not far...".

"We'll find another way out, man".  "They're comin', stay right here". - Seemed like he had spotted the patrol group incoming here

Both of us randomly got inside an enemy tent because of the incident. After getting in there, Hopard pulls me to an area, under a bed. This man himself also hides under a bed that has an enemy sleeping finely from above him.

For some reason, the patrol group heads inside the tent, accidentally waking up some of their soldiers. Because of staying under the bed, I can only see their feet, hardly see their upper bodies while lying on the ground.

"Stay low...". - Hopard whispered to me, asking me to be quiet. This guy is hiding under the bed next to my area, a soldier stepped down from his bed and... hit his finger, so he drew it back silently

"What's wrong, Sir?".

"Nothing is wrong, soldiers".  "These men have ended their shift, now need ones to take their place, for 3 hours".

"You you you and you".  "Get prepared, I'll wait outside".

After that leader went away from the tent, the soldiers there start preparing their armors and weapons. Staying under the beds while seeing their movement, we're sure to wait for them to go away for quite a long, that's what I think.

Latinov's perspective - Meanwhile

I've been appointed, ordered to guard the back of my Platoon unit. Meanwhile, Lt. Serena and my other comrades are watching the enemy from the distance.

Till this time, we're still waiting for the return of the Spec Ops squad. They're night raiding, or I'd say they're inside the enemy camp, collecting military intel.

About Rison... I'll talk about that dumb son of a bitch when I have a mood. Honestly, he confessed that he loves me. And even wants me to become his girlfriend...? Dumb all along, I cannot believe that.

Luckily that the area we're lying in hardly has enemies patrolling around. Till this time, as I know, some of our units have been spotted during the camps' infiltrations. However, it's good when the enemy doesn't care much about us. They think we're just mosquitoes, they're still searching around for us, but doing it very neglectedly.

This time, I'm checking the back of my platoon. But seems like nothing suspicious is found around the area I'm looking at, it's good to know. Hmmm... I see nothing on the back that is suspicious. Because of that reason, I glance behind for a few seconds to watch Lt. Serena and other women comrades, they're observing the camp from the distance.

"Found anything, girls?". - I asked them

"Nothing so far...".  "The security in there looks tight, it's good when they're still in there without being detected".  "Wait... some of them are returning". - My Lieutenant replied to me, she shortly focused on looking at the things forward to her through... the metal scope

That metal scope is an item of Beastmen Army, used for military purposes. We got it from Commander Dollory and her Falcon eaglemen, it's good when we can see things from afar without any struggles.

"I thought they were returning to us, but no".

"What did you see, Sir?". - Some WCA comrade soldiers asked our Commander

"Others returned to the extraction point, and handed over some things to Corporal".  "But they returned to the previous routes to search for more after handing them to him".

"We'll have to wait for more long time, soldiers".  "Alright, now return to your duties and watch the road".  "We'll return as long as they return to us, but not this time, girls".

Rison's perspective  - 10 Minutes after the previous incident

After returning to our Commander the 1st time, we had been ordered to teamwork at this very moment

Currently, we're on the East side of the enemy camp. Seems like our final drop will be here because after collecting the intel here, we'll return to the WCA soldiers.

After getting into the camp for the first time, some of us found nothing. Some managed to find maps and other things like papers. Thinking this camp has nothing else for us to search for any longer, Cpl. Uvaki ordered us to search this site for the last time before the evac.

Most of our Marines haven't searched much on the East side, it's obvious when our Commander ordered us to do that mission.

Now we're staying outside of a big tent, everyone inside seems to be sleeping very well and deeply. Our men are surrounding from the outside, thinking about sending one to get in there to collect intel.

"Moving to the next tent...".  "Rison, take a look". - Pvt. Hopard who is standing outside of the tent, asked me to head inside

I nod to Hopard, shortly step inside the tent while aiming with my bow and arrows. Heading in, the scene around me is just darkness mixed with the lights of lanterns. While I step in and move swiftly to the desk side, my buddies are following me from behind.

I try to do things as stealthy as possible without causing anything against us. Got to the desk, I open the drawers and the cabinets nearby the desk. Hmmm... nothing interesting to look at. Maybe I should inform other SOHH operatives about this intel.

"Nothing... on this side...". - I raised my left hand, with palm opened, shook it

"Nod...". - Hearing my nod, other SOHH operatives started turning around to move out of the tent

We move till all of us get out of that tent, later watch around to make sure no enemy is nearby. Alright, seeing nothing else can stop us ahead, we keep moving.

"Hmmm... enemies, on the move". - All of sudden, an operative whispered to us, even raising his hand with his palm closed

"This way...".  "It's clear...". - Hopard observed the side that guy was looking at, later suggested we move to the side which looks empty

We follow the guy, crouching while moving to reduce the noise and cover our appearances. Heading to that area, we found some things very interesting waiting for us ahead. The machines.

"Enemy patrol incoming this way too".  "Move there, squad".  "On me, everyone".

All of us shortly follow Hopard to the empty site which has many carts, siege machines and other Attenta's heavy weapons. As I see while heading there, the enemy must've left their weapons in this empty site 'cause the space for soldiers is too huge.

"Stay low".  "Stay right... there, no movement". - After he found a good area under a cart, Hopard lay in there

Our Spec Ops squad also follows his action. We lie on the ground and then crawled till our bodies are covered, staying under the carts. During the crawling process, the mud and the soil dirtied our military leather uniforms. Our weapons as well, covered in mud and soil.

We keep lying on the ground, hoping the enemy behind us will pass. Surprisingly, those patrollers changed their direction in the lady moments, heading back to the place they used to patrol.

Glancing at them from behind made my neck feel a bit sore right now. However, that process is done, now we can get out and keep doing our mission to finish everything.

"Stay low...".  "Let 'em pass". - Hopard told us to keep silent, he is now lowering his head, lying like a dead

Hearing his order not so long after that, I heard some footsteps and echoes coming toward us. To be more right to say, those sounds come from the left side, the enemy is coming across here, I think.

All of us stay silent like the dead, those footsteps keep sounding toward us. Until, the two enemies show up in the area, passing the carts with torches in their hands.

Hmmm... they look like the patrollers. Two Attenta patrollers moving alongside in this empty area, strange. These men are chatting lowly while patrolling around this weapon site. Lying on the ground, the sounds of their boots pressing on the grass kept making we go cautious.

"Man, let's quit the job". - Should we concentrate on their trash conversation?

"Why?".  "Because everyone is sleeping?".

"Yeah, not even a ghost care to head here".  "Only the two of us guard this boring place, if it was a one-man work then I'd have slept for so long".  "C'mon, let's turn off the light".  "Wait a minute... magic, water magic...". - Talking to his comrade for a short time, that guy slowly sat on the ground with his back pressing on the cart. He's very near me because I'm lying under that cart

"Ahhh!".  "This way is faster!". - This dude threw the torch on the ground and used his leg to smash the coal on top of the torch, turned it off

"You wasted things, ya know?".  "By the way... we need to scout the place".

"No need...".  "Hmmm... do you see if today has rain?". - Later, he raised his palm, asking his friend if it would rain today

"I don't think so".  "Alright... you don't want to guard this place anymore?".

"Yah".  "I heard something from over there, I meant... camp 3".  "They detected some intruders, had just captured one, others fled away".

"So...?".

"What if... those intruders went here while on the run".

"Nah nah nah, that's impossible".  "C'mon, man! Get up, don't just sit there and waste your time anymore".  "Fuck... alright, fine".  "I'll do it myself". - Walking around and convinced his friend to rejoin the duty, but failed. That guy later walked away

"Hey man! Get back here!".  "Shit... fuck it".  "Maybe I'm gonna nap".  "These shit too heavy, m-".  "Arrrrghhh!". - All of sudden, Pvt. Runov pulled that guy under the cart

"Stabs!!!". - She stabbed the guy's throat, killing him slowly since his eyeballs were still pointing at her though he had died

After killing the guy, she left his body under the cart and crawled out alongside our buddy Marines. I shortly crawled outside since next to my cart was that guy's corpse.

Alright... after we got outside, everything seems to be very silent to me. A Private whose name I don't care to remember and Runov nod to each other, later go away. Hmmm... maybe they planned to get rid of that sole patroller for us, I think. Now we're free.

"What are you thinking about, Hopard?".  "Destroying these things, huh?". - When I returned to hear, an operative could be heard talking to Hopard

"Yeah, that's my plan".  "This place is empty, surely they hardly get here to scout".  "We couldn't find any more intel in this camp, it's enough for now".

"Then... why not, ya know?".  "Like... heading to another camp and raiding it?".

"No no, that's difficult...".  "Instead, we must destroy these weapon caches, it's more practical, isn't it?".

"Even if you don't believe in your plan if it works or not".

"I believe it".  "Just want to know your thoughts, pal".

"Guys...". - I spoke up while the team was planning, because our Commander and Hustur are waiting at the extraction point, so we don't have a main leader here

"We don't have much time".  "Uh, huh".  "And after our raid, the Army and the Beastmen will make the airstrikes and night attacks".  "So ummm...".

"Say it short, man".

"The enemy will use bunches of siege weapons to attack the fortress".  "This camp is just one of many, still more caches in other camps".  "We destroy the one this side, tomorrow will be less miserable".  "Is that ok?".

"Yeah, with "the eyes thirst for girls" like you".

"Hey... cut it off".

"Alright, Marines...".  "So... anyone protests?".

"This guy, 2nd Commander". - A Marine pulled the corpse that we hid under the cart out, he seems to want to bring humor in this raid

"Alright... squad, on me". - Runov and another Marine returned in time as Hopard was speaking

"He slept yet?".

"Nod".

"Alright...".  "You two, break the wheels of those carts". - He ordered the two returners to break the wooden carts' wheels

"Rison and Barenov, take out the ballistas and catapults". - Alright, we'll have to destroy the ballista machines and the catapults

"Others... and I, deal with the siege machine, they can climb to the walls if it still exists".  "It's quite huge, you guys take care of things over there and return to help us".

After the orders are given, we divide our members to take care of other objectives. Taking the same objective as Barenov, he and I together, approached the enemy wooden machines.

While heading to our destination, I spot our operatives breaking the carts' wheels by using their daggers and short swords. Honestly, I don't think our weapons would work against these things. However, in case those woods are soft, breaking the wheels will be possible for us to do, I assume.

"What the fuck was wrong with you?". - All of sudden, Barenov scolded me when I lost my concentration

"Rison, keep your shit together, alright?". - He shortly approached a ballista machine, but kept touching its surface as if he hasn't know how to break it

"Hmmm... we'll cut the ropes, and obtain 'em".  "Sounds good, Rison?". - Alright, he asked me to cut the string of the ballista machine, to break the reload process

I nod to Barenov. He shortly climbs on the top of the ballista machine, pulls out his dagger and cuts its top string. Meanwhile, I draw out my short sword and cut the left and right side strings.

"Alright...". - We pulled the ropes out of the ballista machine, later I tied them to my forearms and legs. Only Barenov stuffed the ropes in his handbag

"Alright, you take care of the one on the right, the left is mine". - We divided our way

I head to another ballista machine on the right side, shortly climbing on its top. Grabbing its top string, I cut it, later cut both side strings to end the process. After cutting the string, I jump down and grab the cut ropes.

I look around to see if I can see anything else. Two catapults can be seen lying on the right side, forward to me. I approach the two ballistas and jump on one's top, doing the process like I used to do with the previous ballistas.

I grab the ropes after that, later head to the last one and cut its string. Hmmm... as I can see from my side, many other machines are further from here, should I go there?

"Tap! Tap!". - When I was looking at the machines further to me, Barenov tapped me from behind

"What you were doing...?".

"There". - I pointed my finger at those machines

"Those things are too far from us, who knows if that side has enemy patrollers".  "C'mon, let's take out the things over here first, that side later".

"Nod!". - I nodded to him, both of us shortly rejoined the Spec Ops squad

"You broke those things yet?". - Our 2nd Commander - Hopard asked us when he and his buddies are on the top side of the siege machine

"We did".  "But still have things farther over there". - I replied to Hopard, also pointed to those machines

"We'll take care of them on another occasion".  "This is just the first night, Marines".  "They've started growing many... I can see 'em from here, very detailed".

"Their number is increasing?".

"Yeah".  "Seemed like they had found out the bodies, let's roll out before they get here".

"C'mon, Marines... let's burn these shit, make them brightest tonight".

"Why, Sir?".

"We cannot destroy this siege engine, it's too hard for us".  "Use magic, burn 'em out". - After ordering us, Hopard and other Spec Ops operatives got down from the siege machine through the back ladder

"Alright, burn 'em out and roll outta here to join the girls!".

Hearing Hopard's order, all of us rush to the siege engines of the hostiles. Some of our members act quite swiftly when they cast fire magic from their palms to set up the big flame.

"Don't make it grow too big, the enemy might notice".

Despite hearing his order, seems like all of us are burning those siege engines in our own way. The Spec Ops operatives from my point of view, are quite rush because they're casting magic everywhere to burn things.

About me and Barenov, he leaves me and starts burning the siege engines. Only I am alone here, trying to pick one to burn while my buddies are doing that better than I am.

"Alright, fire". - I approached a catapult, later pointed my palm to it and casted flame

For a reason, I'm still an "Advancer" with fire magic, still need to say the words while casting the spell or it'll be useless. Two seconds after casting the spell, a small flame spurts out from my palm and starts burning the catapult.

"Fire". - I rushed to another catapult, casting the flame to do like the previous one

"Squad, on me".  "On my mark, we'll burn that colossal ladder down to ashes". - 2nd Commander - Hopard ordered us to teamwork with him

I turn around and approach my Spec Ops squad. In front of us is the siege machine which to me, is very tall to dozens of meters and huge. Burning one down, the enemy cannot use this machine to seize the fortress. Even though they can use other ones, we'll raid their camps on other occasions, but not now.

"Rison, get ready!". - The operative next to me asked me to focus. So I targeted that siege machine by using my right palm, while using my left hand to hold my right forearm, for the better aim

"Three... two... one".  "Fire!".

"Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spurt! Spring! Spurt!".  "Spurt!". - Their fireballs spurted out from their palm and burned the machine, while it took my turn a few seconds to spurt it out

Now in front of us, the huge wooden siege machine is burning brighter than ever. The flame keeps spreading non-stop, from that siege machine to the other engines below it.

Standing in the fire while watching the scene, some Marines were quite... excited!

"Woohhhhh!".  "Hell yeah!".  "Burn 'em out to the last one!".  "We forgot to chop their heads, Sir!".  "This camp is brightest tonight!".  "You came so slow, boy!".  "Tap! Tap! Tap!". - Watching the fire scene, these operatives, some yelling like crazies in their ecstatic excitement. About me, Hopard tapped my back, don't know if he was praising or mocking my skill

"Let's move out, Marines!".  "We'll borrow some horses, over there".  "Squad, on me". - Joining the yellings not so long, Pvt. Hopard ordered us to follow him, we'll get outta here soon

Private Latinov's perspective

"Lieutenant... are they nuts?". - All of sudden, my girl comrades asked our Commander something odd

I was guarding the back of my Platoon, so basically I didn't know anything from the front side till this time. The way they said means those operatives must've committed something bad, I thought so.

"I'm not afraid of strong enemies, but dumb comrades".  "Sounds fit this moment, girls?".  "Giggles...". - Our Lieutenant just giggled that casually, what did she mean?

"They look very chilling with fighting, Sir".

"That's how men do".  "Warring around but keep thinking like they're on a trip".

"What happened?". - I asked them 'cause I was curious

"They're burning the camp, sis".  "Your boyfriend's in there, not worried about him?". - Seriously?! Stop making fun of me!

"Wait... they're comin'...".  "On the ground now".  "Quickly...". - All of sudden, I spotted an enemy patrol group coming in front of me

"Go go go go!".  "That must be 'em, hunt them down now!". - Their Commander yelled at them, asking his soldiers to stop the things in the camp

We're all now lying on the grass while staying deeply in the shadow. The enemy patrollers are passing us without knowing our existence in this area, good. Hmmm... they're so many, their feet keep pressing on the grass while running toward the camp. They're very near.

"Urrrrrgggghh!". - Shit! One accidentally stepped on a comrade's hand, he fell

"What the fuck are you doing?!!!! Stand up!!!!". - Hearing his order, that soldier got up and grabbed his fallen spear, later kept moving without noticing us

Wow... thanks the Goddess. That was very lucky.

"To the siege machines, do not let 'em burn down!".  "Go!!!!". - Yelling at the running soldiers for a while, that Commander started moving since he was the last one standing in this area

"Urrrrrgggghh!!!". - Lieutenant grabbed his belt and pulled him out, the man is now resisting in his fear

"Stab!!!!".  "Sweet dreams...". - She stabbed his nape, later pulled the dagger out

"Sir, I found the Marines!".  "They're coming here with horses!".  "Incoming!!!". - Those women comrades yelled, so I also returned to look at the front side

"Got cha!". - Right at the time I turned around, a hand grabbed mine, later I was pulled onto the back of a horse

"Come here, girls!".  "We're rushing back, hurry hurry". - Turned out those Spec Ops operatives were escaping by horses. Some of them were lifting the WCA women soldiers up, to mount on their big horses

"Babe, you hear me?!!!". - Wait, who was speaking?

"Babe!!!". - How the fuck he's the one who rides the horse?!

"Is that the last one of 'em?!!!". - Cpl. Uvaki shouted, to make sure no one is left behind this escape

"No one left, Corporal!!!". -

"Alright!".  "Team, on me!!!". - The Corporal later ordered us to follow him

Our horses fastly run on the path to return to Veta border gate safely. While sitting on the horseback, I have no choice but to hug Rison's waist to have the grip.

However, the way this guy reacts to my hugs only makes me want to hit him. Especially this dude's face when I'm hugging him, looks like a drug who is fucking high on drugs.

"Our airstrike comes, people!".  "Who called it?!!!". - While running on our horse, some Marines asked each other for some reason

I look up at the sky due to my previous curiosity. As I can see, dozens of eaglemen are flying in the sky in a V-line. The Wing Platoon is about to bomb the enemy and their camps by using the huge stones and logs attached to their spiky feet.

When our horses are away from the previous raided camp, the "bombs" started falling on their camp. Watching the scene from afar, I return to look at the dirt road ahead. Because tonight is quite cold... I just want to feel the warmth... not this guy!

Despite going quite far from their camp, I'm still a little bit cautious. Because of that, I turn around quite frequently with my loaded crossbow aiming at the road behind. However... I can only spot my Platoon and the Spec Ops squad riding on their horses. No sign of Red hostiles.

"Ummm... babe, hear me?". - Rison just kept asking me while riding the horse, I must reply to him. Otherwise, he'll surely ask me forever

"What?".

"Can you become my girlfriend now?".  "Can we... uhh, this night, ya know...".

"My scarf... have it?".

"Here!". - All of sudden, he handed me my red scarf, which is now flying by the moving wind... I grabbed it

"It's been dirtied... and scratched".

"So I failed?".

"Yeah...".

"No babe! Why why why...".  "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh... no...". - Honestly, I don't know how to react to his reactions

"Another challenge... do it and I'm yours".  "Hear me?".

"Of course, babe".

"Call me Tina or Tinov, "babe" sounds so disgusting!".

"Of course, Tina". - Now please call me Tinov!

"Ahem!".  "Well, I want you... tonight".

"Our night together? A very hot one?! In a room with the tw-".

"I haven't done yet!".  "Ahem!". - Which challenge should I put for him? Because I want to have fun with this guy. Even if I don't have feelings for him, I want to make sure he's good enough to play with, as good friends

"Midnight, the two of us, in a bush, make it hot till I, or you are exhausted".

"Of course I will!!!". - And this guy... cannot believe it he thinks with his dick, heh

"Alright, now return to our duty, Rison".  "Do it well...". - Done talking with him, I looked behind once again with my crossbow aiming around to make sure all of us are safe
