" Nephele?, Tartarus?" Riya said giving the weird guy a look.
" Yes he's Meridith's father, your father and he's the Prince of Hell"
" Yeah Prince of Hell my foot, where was he when Meridith died" Riya said glaring as Elijah wore an amused look.
"In Hell obviously, well you'll soon get your memories from your past life as soon as your powers fully awaken" he said grinning
" Yeah when that happens I can take that unnerving smile off your face". she said irritably.
The smile immediately dropped from Elijah's face.
"Spoken like the devil's child, and this body is perfectly good looking" . Elijah grumbled.
"Does he go around talking so weirdly" Rick whispered to Riya as he scrutinized Elijah.
"Not sure, he woulda been locked up by now if that were to be the case" she whispered back
" I can perfectly hear you idiots" Elijah said staring at his fingers.
" Hmmmm" Riya answered.
"We need to go somewhere". Elijah said changing the topic.
" And where is that?" Riya asked.
"Egypt" he responded
Hey punk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They both screamed at him.
"We leave at first light" he said totally ignoring them.
"Who wakes up one morning and travels to Egypt?" Riya asked annoyed by his ignorance.
"I'm officially going to go crazy at this rate" said Rick
"Nobody said anything about normal transport" he said still acting ignorant
" Ohhhh I should have expected that, there's nothing normal about you" Riya said eyeing him warily.
" We'll be using a magic portal, so don't worry it won't take much time" he said waving his finger dismissively.
" Now I've got somewhere to go, I'll be back" he said and stood up.
He chanted something inaudibly and a big purple ring of flames appeared in front of him, Riya and Rick squinted to see properly as the light was blinding at first, then their eyes finally adjusted to it.
"What the hell is that" Riya asked dumbfounded.
" A portal, be right back" Elijah said before he stepped into the portal and disappeared with it.
Rick and Riya were almost reeling from the shock.
" Stupid old man" Riya grumbled still staring at the spot he disappeared from.
" Some really interesting stupid old man" Rick lamented.

Nephele sat on the throne with an expressionless face on, tapping his fingers on the throne. Just then, a portal appeared and Elijah stepped out of it, the mages in the throne room immediately took a protective stance.
"I see you're still not the people's favorite" Nephele taunted half smiling at the detective that just stepped in.
"Nahhhhh they're just scared" he replied smiling at the mages who eyed him with killer eyes.
" Same old Elijah, always in the WANTED DEAD list" Nephele said smirking.
"Well your daughter loves me, she's like a little pet around me, so sticky" he said winking.
"Ohhhh she does?" Nephele asked looking amused.
"Sure she does"
" So why are you here" Nephele asked
" To tell you the improvements so far, I'll be taking her to see Kayla at first light" he said suddenly becoming serious.
" And you're bringing the human boy too?". Nephele asked irritably.
"Not like I have any choice, he's a leech" Elijah mumbled.
" Okay, what is Adonis up to these days after the attack on Meridith and the dead human?" Nephele asked with some marlice in his voice.
" He's still making more demon friends I guess". Elijah said shrugging his shoulders.
"Stay close to Meridith and keep me updated and when the time is right, I hope I get to see her". Nephele said with fondness in his voice.
" Alright, gotta run" Elijah said opening a portal and disappeared into it.
"Thank you old friend". Nephele whispered as the portal closed.

Inside Rick's house, Rick held Riya as they both sat in silence.
" It's all happening too fast I feel like it's a dream". Riya said
" I just can't believe all these is real, feels like a movie" Rick said and kissed her forehead.
" Yeah me too". she said absentmindedly.
Just then, a purple circle of flames appeared and Elijah stepped out of it.
"What'd I miss" he asked
" The old man's back". Riya murmured.
"Wanna die?" he asked turning to face Rick looking amused
TF bruhhhhh!!!!!!!! Rick exclaimed while Riya just glared at Elijah
" I told you your little boyfriend here dies anytime you call me old man" he said still looking amused.
"How annoying" Riya muttered while Rick just sighed.
He walked to the window and shoved his hand in his pocket and sighed.
"You're lucky I got here quick, there are so many demons out here that wants to play with you". Elijah said scoffing.
"Ohhhh wow how convenient". Riya said glaring at him.
"Get some rest, we still need to go to Egypt in the morning" he said ignoring her.
He whispered a spell and put a boundary around the house so the demons couldn't cause anymore trouble tonight.
"How do we sleep with those things outside". Rick asked.
"I already put a boundary spell around the house, they can't come in". Elijah said dismissively.
" Ohh how comforting".Riya said feigning gratitude as she made a slight bow.
"Annoying brat". Elijah muttered under his breath.

Adonis paced back and forth angrily in thoughts, he had sent several demons after that witch but they couldn't come close to her somehow because of the skeleton mage. The other day, he almost had her but that stupid Mage had to interfere and killed the demon.
But how did he send the demon back to the fiery pit?
"Only Meridith could do that" he thought out loud and stopped pacing.
Did she gain her powers back so soon?
He had been watching that girl since he found her at age 15 and he hadn't seen anything different apart from her being a mere mortal.
"What happened that night" he lamented and continued to pace.
He'll get her back no matter what, they had to finish what they started thousands of years ago. He thought.
"Master".
A demon appeared interrupting his thoughts
" Give me something tangible demon, I'm running out of patience". Adonis snarled.
"Can't bring the girl, mage seal the walls". the demon said in a distorted voice.
Adonis uttered a spell and the demon started to screech and burst into dust.
"Useless creatures" he said gritting his teeth.
