Chapter 3 - The Fated Meeting

Time flows, bringing us to the present.

Inside a moving car Liya could be seen in the driver seat, while Gizem along with her new-born were occupying the backseat as he was sleeping in her arms. The silent gaze of Gizem remained fixed on the road outside the window without uttering a word, God knows what she is thinking as her expression changes from being one of guilt to anger and sometimes sadness filled overwhelming loneliness. Liya obviously noticed her friend strange behaviour, but she decided to not meddle or comment about it as she might just aggrieves it, all she could do now, is to be there to support her best friend and wait patiently for her to recover.

The two of them had driven for approximately 40 minutes before arriving at an isolated part of the city in which Liya parked in a vacant spot just a few meters away from what seemed to be a two-story fenced house with quite a well-kept garden that was like a mini playground because of the many slides, swing sets, etc. At the door of the fence, there was a sign that read SZT orphanage.

Liya stared at the orphan house for a couple minutes before turning around.

"Giz, this is the place. It's quite early in the morning so almost nobody is around. We can drop him in front of the door and wait inside the car until he is brought inside, so get him ready."

"Mm, I'll get on with it"

Gizem nodded calmly as she started wrapping the baby in a white veil. This was to prevent him from getting cold as it was quite chilly in the morning. She then handed him over to Liya who was already outside the car with a baby cart ready as she placed him in it. She then told Gizem.

"You stay in the car, I'll take care of the rest"

Gizem nodded to signal her compliance as she reached out to touch the baby cheek for what could be the last time, but soon she took back her hand with a firm look she turned around before getting into the car.

Liya was wearing a black suit with a black shirt, sunglasses, and a hat to hide her face. She started pushing the cart carefully until she reached the door of the orphanage, she let go of the cart before ringing the bell a couple times in succession, she gave the baby a last glance before turning around and hurrying off to her car, after reaching it she quickly turned it on as she sped up away from the orphanage, only enough to still be able to observe the door as to prevent any mishap from happening.

In about five minutes following the car's departure, an elderly man accompanied by two young people in their 20's stepped outside as soon as they heard the bell ringing, but as soon as they saw the baby in the cart, they understood what had happened as they shook their heads in helplessness before hurrying to bring the baby inside.

There were three people inside the house, one elderly and two younger, all discussing what to do as they glanced at the baby in the cart every few minutes. These were the same three people who picked him up from the front door, Ali, Nasin and Dila. Ali was an old man in his 60's with a tall and skinny build, silky grey hair tied in a ponytail and a matching full beard and a face that indicated that he must've been quite the handsome young man. To his right was Nasin his adopted son he was a tall dude with a robust build and brown skin, short black hair accompanied with a bigote and bright coloured green eyes, while to his left his adopted daughter Dila was standing, the typical middle eastern beauty with long black hair and well defined facial features. They were currently standing in the office of Ali discussing the issue at the hand, which was the drop out baby.

"What a heartless mother, she couldn't even afford to keep him for a month, disposing of him in his first week, she didn't even name him"

"Yeah, most parents will at least wean their kids before leaving them."

"Kids, no matter what, it is not our place to judge or criticize another person's actions, as they must not have it easy neither, but alas this is reality no matter whose fault it was it will always affect this child's life"

The three discussed in hushed voices in a worry of waking up the other kids as it was still too early in the morning. However. Ali seemed to be reminded of something as he asked his kids

"Wait what day is it today?"

"June 10th, why are you asking?"

"*Sigh*, I'm really getting in on my age. How could I have forgotten? Today, an important guest from London is coming"

"What's wrong with that?" Asked Nasin confused as they had a bunch of high-profile guests come every now and then to adopt children.

"Well, you could say he is significant but in a dangerous way. Anyway, get ready as we will welcome him in an hour. Dali you take care of the baby, and Nasin wake the kids up in half an hour as they also need to get ready for school"

"Kay" "Got it"

Ali walked out of the office with Nasin leaving Dali behind with the baby. Dali went ahead to check on him as they never got the chance to do so, when she reached out and got him out of the cart bed to take look at his face, she was left mesmerized by his beautiful black eyes as she stared at them in a daze totally captured by their charm, she kept staying like that until she heard a baby's cries downstairs which broke her out her daze, realizing she's been like that for more than 15 minutes she couldn't help but shake her head as she hurriedly checked his diapers to make sure everything was good.

"Wow, you are so charming. I'm sure you will turn out to be a handsome man in the future"

She then thought to herself as she put him back into his cart.

'That is weird though was he awake the whole time without making a single sound' But her thoughts were cut off when she heard Nasin call out to her

"Dali get down, they seem to have got here already"

*Gasp*

Surprised, she hurried to front yard while pushing the cart carefully. When she arrived at the yard, she found Ali speaking to two people in suits with respect, they were one elderly man who seemed to be in his 50's and a young woman following behind him, the elderly was apparently named Kerath he was 6'3 with a robust build contradictory to his age as his muscles were still full vigour clearly shown below his suit, he had short grey hair with a square shaped face shown by his wide angular jaws with edges but a flat chin, he was wearing a dark blue Double breasted suite with a pair of black standard Oxfords, to his side stood a beautiful blond woman in her 30's wearing a long azure summer dress showing off her voluptuous figure, she had a pair of black framed glasses on which accentuated her mature charm.

The moment Dali arrived at the yard with the baby cart, Kerath's eyes darted toward her for a couple seconds before focusing on the cart, before long he started heading her way with the other two following behind making her a bit anxious, after a couple steps he now stood before her as she couldn't help gulping while feeling pressured by the majestic air he was giving off. The whole entire time he kept staring at baby in the cart without taking his eyes off for even a second, but abruptly he turned to Ali as he inquired him. "Tell me about him."

Ali obediently complied as he informed. "I'm sorry to disappoint you sir, but we have no information on him. Actually, he just happened to have been abandoned this morning before you came at our door."

Kerath adopted a thoughtful expression for a couple of seconds before speaking in a majestic tone to Ali.

"Then, I shall take him in. There is no need to look further at the other kids"

Ali appeared a bit troubled by his request as he explained.

"I apologize sir, but it is against the rules to take him in when he is not even reg_"

Before Ali could finish his sentence, Kerath closed the distance between them in a moment before pushing his face onto Ali's and looked at him in the eyes, he spoke in a cold and majestic voice

"SAID WHO?"

Ali was startled by the sudden actions prompting him to fall on his back in fear. He readily agreed to Kerath's adoption of this Newborn.

Kerath's once again faced the baby in cart who was looking at the entire scene with oozing curiosity from his eyes, a warm smile surfaced on the elder face unlike his prior cold gaze. Looking at his future child, he stretched his hand lifting the child of the cart and held him close to his chest as he kept staring at him as if he were checking he every nock and cranny of his being.

Having collected himself, Ali told his children to go inside and followed behind them, leaving the trio alone. Despite her reluctance to leave the baby, Dali had no choice but to comply considering even her father had not put up any resistance.

Before long Kerath left the yard to a black limousine parked right outside the door with baby in his arms leaving the cart behind followed by the blond woman who opened the door for Kerath and follow him inside as the car zoomed into the distance.

Back at the orphanage, Dila was asking her father about that person. She was feeling indignant about losing the child, but he simply shook his head helplessly at her as he explained.

"Dali, listen child and you too Nasin come here get closer as this lesson will serve you later in life, in this world there are some people who have powers beyond our imaginations they live in a world of their own where rules down here seem like child play for them as they possess enough means and power to upset economy, peace and some can even wars erupt at will they hold millions of life in their hands remember unless you have enough strength to shake a country's decisions don't even think of facing them. In fact, when I was 10 years ago, I used to work for one of those people and I've seen what some are capable of, it's just_" Ali paused as if reminiscing something as he shuddered "It's just mind blowing in the literal meaning, and that person whom we just met is _" Ali eyes and body started shaking in fear as he remembered the brief aura he felt earlier, that Kerath briefly released

"Is a monster in human skin he is not somebody we can handle, of all the people I met they seemed nothing but ants compared to him just from that speck of aura he let out"

Dali and Nasin gulped their saliva as cold sweat formed on their backs. Although they didn't know a lot about these matters, they saw how their father was treated by some really top-class people that came to visit him every now and then, so they were stunned when they saw his state before and heard his explanation now.

--------------------------

At the airport, a black limousine was parked right outside a black private jet. Inside the limousine, Kerath was holding the baby as the blond woman was waiting outside talking with some staff.

Kerath was thinking deeply about the issue of feeding the baby. He wasn't willing to entrust it to somebody else.

'It seems he hasn't been fed a single drop of milk since his birth. How careless'

"Well, since fate brought us together, you shall be my son, my only successor, my third and last disciple."

Kerath had announced to himself and the baby, who seemed to have understood as he moved his arms around while Kerath's smile deepened as he stepped out of the car and held the baby high above his head in a thunderous voice he announced.

"TO LONDON"
