"River! I'm pregnant," his fiancé squeaked in fear, River frowned confused, but he put aside his confusion and felt happy with the news he heard. He smiled, a big smile and hugged his fiancé, Emma tightly.
"You want to marry me?" asked River, suddenly proposing to his girlfriend because he wanted in the future his child to be born with official status. Of course Emma, who was initially shocked, she's immediately changed her facial expression to a smile, she was very happy when her fiancé offered her a marriage.
Because of that, Emma chose to keep secrets about the baby in her stomach and lied to River. "You want to marry me, Emma?" River asked again, Emma happily nodded her head.
"Yes, River!" she answered and hugging her fiancé and her future husband, River smiled a wide smile and returned Emma's hug with great affection. For him, marrying Emma was like a dream he had been waiting for, and soon his dream would be come true.

His wedding day arrived, River stared at his own reflection in the mirror with a tuxedo on his body, and he was smiling proudly. The day he had been waiting for had arrived, he bet that Emma would look very beautiful in the girl's dream wedding dress. River feels, now in his life there is nothing lacking in the slightest. Handsome face, riches? no need to ask, he is one of the most successful CEOs in Indonesia.
And now, he has a very beautiful bride and a child who will soon be born from the woman he loves. He already has everything.
After feeling that his appearance was neat, River stepped out of his room and was about to go to his wedding altar. But when passing through a room, he heard a voice whispering that made him curious. He put his ear to the door of the room, and tried to hear the conversation of the people inside.
"But Em, the baby is my child!" A familiar voice started yelling, River knew that voice very well. He had heard that voice all of his life, the voice of his best friend, Davin. River was stunned for a moment, he was still confused about what his best friend was talking about. "So? You want our to have a miserable life? I'll ask him to change all his assets in my name, and I'll go marry you! You know that I love you, right?" This time the voice of the woman he loved, Emma was heard to answer. River's brain seemed to stop working, he was still silent and not aware of what was happening. Not believing what he was hearing, River grabbed the doorknob and opened it immediately.
Emma, his fiancé and future wife, was caught hugging his best friend, Davin. River laughed sadly at that, he didn't even have time to feel the pain in his chest. It felt like he was really being conned after being in contact with Emma for the past 3 years. And seriously? Is it necessary that on hia wedding day the dirty things that the two people she loves have done must be revealed? why on this sacred day?
"River, I can explain—" Emma cried, the woman had let go of her hug with Davin and stepped toward River. His hand tried to hold the man's hand, but River reflexively brushed it off. "Disgusting," River hissed, Emma's appearance which at first looked beautiful because she's wearing a beautiful wedding dress had changed to look disgusting to her.
"Rivers!" called Emma again, the woman did not give up. He sat up hugging River's legs and looked at his fiancé—no, his ex-fiancée with pleading eyes. But River's feelings of disgust haven't changed one bit, Emma is now just a cheap woman to him.
He let go of Emma's grip on his leg roughly, and walked away without looking back. "Where are you going?" His mother was walking towards him, giving him a worried look. "Let me go, Ma." After saying that, River resumed his steps by jogging a bit while busy calling his assistant, Kevin told him to pick him up. Because he didn't want to meet anyone else, he was forced to run farther so that no one noticed his departure. Arriving across the street he found a girl in a shabby-looking wedding dress, the hazel-eyed girl looked at her with a dreamy gaze. River could see that the girl was also running just like him, but judging from her appearance it seemed that the girl was really in trouble.
"Miss Alea!" someone shouted, River's reflex and the girl looked at the street corner where a strange man was standing. The girl he knew from her nickname was named Alea, ran fast and the strange man ran after her. Seeing her in dire straits, of course River couldn't allow it. Even though he hated meddling in other people's affairs, somehow he felt like he had to help her. River also ran, chasing after the girl and because he was closer than he was with the stranger, River was able to reach the girl's small hand.
The hazel-eyed girl stared at her in wide-eyed shock, and River just tightened his grip and ran with her. Until a car belonging to his assistant Kevin had stopped in front of the two of them, and told River to get into it immediately. "Come in!" Kevin yelling, River nodded his head and told the girl standing beside him to come in too. But the girl was still silent and looked still surprised. Without saying much, River pulled the girl's body to get into the car. Luckily he complied and sat beside her.
"Come on Kevin, come on!" River said when he realized that the foreign man had started running towards the car, Kevin nodded his head following his superior's orders even though he was still confused about the identity of the girl in the wedding dress who was running with River. "Where am I going?" the girl screamed suddenly, River turned to him and smiled trying to give the girl peace. Judging from her face, the girl was really beautiful! dark brown hair that matched her hazel eyes, a small mole on the corner of her cheek, even though her appearance looked messy, the girl who he thought was still in her 20s still looked beautiful. River's favorite part was his eyes, even Emma's beauty was nothing compared to the pretty girl sitting beside him. Meeting this girl actually made River forget the betrayal of Davin and Emma, the two people he once loved. Looks like this girl is really in trouble, her feet also look blisters and her body smells bad. Even so, River did not say anything. I tried to understand the girl's situation. Because his arms were open and his beautiful collarbones were clearly visible, River took off the jacket he was wearing and put it on the girl. The girl looked surprised and stared at River fixedly. Until a crazy idea crossed River's mind.
"May I ask a question?" River asked suddenly, the girl who was staring nodded her head slowly. River Please ask him. "Did you run away from your own wedding?" The girl paused for a moment, her gaze changed to a sad one and she turned her face away from River again. Seeing her, River felt guilty for asking. "Sorry," River said, but the girl looked back up and nodded her head slowly. "Yes, I don't want to marry that old man. I also still want to pursue my dream, even though I have to start from zero later," explained the girl with a faint smile, of course River was touched to see it.
"Wanna marry me? I'll make sure you can be safe from that man and can pursue your dreams," River offered suddenly, even Kevin who was driving his car had to stop suddenly in shock. "River!" Kevin shouted surprised by the offer his boss gave to a girl he had just met. "You're crazy?" Now the girl responded to River's offer of disbelief, while River had smiled and directed her hand to invite the girl to shake hands to agree. "I will guarantee those two things, but you have to be my wife," River said again.
