Chapter 4 - Emotion

Emotion

Please enjoy your trip," Lana, secretary/dispatcher says politely with smile  from behind the counter, handling out there tickets.

Thank you so much," Aaron's sister replied, as she taken there tickets for the both of them before walking through the automatic doors that lead out to the platform.

Immediately, she was made  aware of the marked contrast in temperature between the indoors and the outdoors.

The cold nips at her fingers. A fog rolls in from the east.

She  pull her  coat tighter around her body and glance around the platform.

Aside from her, there is only an old woman and a mother and son.

She nod politely at them before checking the time on her watch.

The train is supposed to arrive at 1130. It is already 11:09.

She took a deep breathe of the city's humid air outside town.

Ran the  push an  squeeze on  through   half up occupied large  paths   towards out there comfort zone dressed up prepared for the academy of the beginnings.

The view of the  whole transportation foundation   was really huge.

Just as Araon  about to begin an internal debate about rather  to sit down on one the benches or remain standing, he

catch a glimpse of the sea glittering in the distance behind the trees.

He wet his lips surreptitiously.

It is a  habit he  had since he was a kid.

The salt in the air finds his  tongue.

He  taken a scan  the big view of the fulfilled narrow areas of the train stations.

He  gazes at the empty beaches across the platforms.

Seated alone in an otherwise crowded-with-people.

One of those small ones, with only a few trains that you just  are filled with people going out and empty of people coming back.

The building still modern and classy in a desperate attempt to conceal  it's  dying relic of bygone days.

People are bustling  absurd of about, moving back and forth.

Near the back all the fuzz an noise of the bleachers nearly unnoticed, sits Aaron.

Everyone around him is busy got somewhere they need to be.

They glance at him begin another  glance back again, something telling them that they've never seen the likes of him before.

Not half way grown up, his a complete stranger.

It's not his face that catches the eye, though he's  demeanor  awaiting for no reasonable sort. Isn't relying moving anywhere anytime soon.

He  let the waves of his jacket  plump with his hands within his jacket pocekts, unzip from  laid on his shoulders as  the  hallway on down his sister  shuffling toward pushing her way through the  throng.

He  wore a navy blue poplin raincoat over gray sweatpants and white sneakers, looking, at be   nineteen years old.

His mess of black hair swept artfully back from his forehead, not a strand out of place.

Sat  in the  air whirling around him. He narrowed his eyes from getting any pollen of dirt in the,.

His sister  dressed in sporting pink an immaculately shiny  selves overall hoodie with a pink silky pants the  go with it.

He sit there  calm and collected,  an artless ease.

Chin resting casually  idly survey the crowd rushing past, the corner of his  lip puckered  slightly push of air in disappointment.

He  scan the crowd as he wait for their train to arrive at the station,  seeing if anyone catches his eye.

If any them will ever talk to them.

They're all running, running to trains, running from trains, all busy.

They're here with a purpose, with a goal.

Mere extras of new  freshmen an  experienced veterans out the scene.

And then she enters hands on her love handles.

"We were away from your friends in our neighborhood you didn't want ever see again, she spoke.

I'm sorry of everything they had done to get in you trouble."

He turns his head to the side of the wall by him.

She continued on with a little sigh.

"You so blindsided desperate for friends you wanted, you could not see that me not always there help you like mom and dad did."

Just hold on a second," she said gasping for air.

Were not going to high school, aren't we, Rena?" Aaron worriedly asked.

He gives her a tap on her shoulder for her attention.

She glimpse his way, standing herself up straight.

Turning her head following a wind ruffled her hot pink curly long hair.

"No, we aren't going to high school, she replied.

We going to go to you're dream job, father approved of.

I've been saving it for as a surprise, anything to make my brother happy is all I ever wanted."

She lounges back in taking her seat.  Perched on the edge comfort with him of her copying his, shoved in her pockets

It called-"

I love you so much sis!"

He happily hug her tight, interrupted her talking.

You're the best! Hahaha!"

Ye-ye" She gagged.

Struggled to breathe, prying open for her release.

You're choking me!"

He releases her having his arms behind back board and the benches.

Sorry," he chuckled nervously.

She swept her clothes giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"It's ok, brother. She said little annoyed.

It's all good."

His head rushed bright red fidgeted with his hair his lip.

Eheheeh, you truly are a funny person, Aaron.

The moving train makes a loud squeaking noise on the rails.

Everyone on this train, standing up from there seats holding on the blackjack rails to hold steadily the get off at the double doors.

The speaker on the intercom is still just a small voice above all the racket.

So Araon decided willingly get up on his feet this time.

"Next stop, Bridge Wood Hills" says the conductor talking into the mic joyfully. "Can't wait arrive at my calling!"

Says Araon clutched his fist. It will take quite some time till they arrive in Bridge Wood Hills.

They walks aimlessly into the station platforms edge of the platforms.

Looking around in the ways poeple gathering beside them to behind them for the commuter.

The train double doors smoothly open people enough of several at once step down from the train, over time and leaves like a operating vacuum.

Some however drifted off in slumber so unnoticed that they don't realise they need vacate there seats missing there official stops.

After a moment, she turns and slowly grasp on his brothers to inside the train beating the crowd.

His hands drum idly on the deep pockets of his pants pockets, then stop, then start again.

A train attendant handsomely dressed in the same midnight blue as the train stands before her with his gloved hands clasped on the black strings to not be ran over beside him. She checked the name of the train and look back down at there tickets.

You're tickets mam?"

She hand him there tickets. He gives it a thoroughly examination before smiling and returning it to her. " Welcome, to your first train."

She was surprised, apologized for the hold up.

I'm sorry, guys! You'll may get in too!

Come on brother!"

Here we go again-aaa-aaaa!" He dragged few more feet to a stop.

He lick his lips, tasting the salt in the air, before making his way towards the seaside village with his sister that the be known within walking distance.

Inside, the train is even more impressive.

The seats, each bay a set of four, are upholstered in camel-colored leather.

It looks buttery to the touch. The train table is folded down. Smooth and polished.

Save for the mother and son she saw earlier, there appear to be no other passengers on the train taking that spot yet.

The elderly woman, however, is still on the platform.

The worry must have shown on her face standing over her brother behind the seat for the attendant turns to reassure her.

"Do not worry about her," he says.

"She is still waiting for her husband. They will take the next train together." "Oh-ehehe. She nervously look over to him. Than you, I was worried."

"No problem, mam go ahead an take a seat with your brother an get comfy, he replied. Were going to get ready leave soon as everyone is accounted for."

She nod her head reach her brother and sit down next to him.

Lost in his thoughts, staring at the window, he still hasn't noticed her yet.

And then with practiced ease, he leans out of the carriage door and blows on his whistle.

He signals to somebody she cannot see, and not long after, the door closes, and the conductor announces our departure on the loud speaker.

She remain standing even as the train begins to move her eyes fixed on the old woman left on the platform with her children saddened on up the escalator moving staircase. No husband, in sight.

It is only when she disappears completely up the top that she realize that she ought to take a seat.

Leaned back and wave at the other people on the train.

Some taking notice of her moments giggled or to smile back at her waving back.

For the first hour or so, Aaron rub lay against the window watch contentedly as the greens and browns outside my window mix together like watercolor on an artist's palette.

The terrain here is mostly mountain and forest, but every once in a while, the majestic sea would dip in and out of view.

From where he am sitting, I can hear the mother telling her son that the sea is playing hide and seek with him and that he must be fast if he wants to catch it.

He feels like he was being pursued, like the sea beauty of the ocean it's latest paramour demanding to be chased or lived up pound. Or perhaps it is more like the past, desperate to catch up to the present with it's figure new resolution.

A fantasy mimic his desired to manifest.

Once again, he was reminded of his old hometown.

Him during staying with family was probably a decade ago, he always played in his room acting in those hundreds of cartoons an action movies he seen on television. Portrays the hero story on of in the end the hero beats the villain.

Meant to go back, he was not ever able too.

Now that it wrapped around his head thinking about it, Don't have to think of a valid reason for saying so. He could just for real do it....

Eventually, the scenery changes and the tracks lead us through a thick and lush bamboo forest. This time, it is was his father's voice he hear in his head. "Bend, don't break," he said to hjm just before he left to prepared on out the car walking with his father to the school play of about swordsmans.

It was stressful morning and he was lying awake worrying.

Focusing on his sister grinning at him calms him down and allows him to fall asleep.
