"Seth Eins, you are chosen to be a traverser of both worlds. Will you finally heed my call?"
In the darkness of my cloudy mind, she whispered to me again and again.
It has been that way since then.
It was a rainy day that happened, the streets were soaked from the sudden downpour. People either dashed ahead or took cover. Umbrellas sprung up by the hundreds in varying colors, yet all I remember vividly that day was her dying right before my eyes.
I was there also sitting right beside her while she was being sent to the nearest hospital while she was being treated the best they could. Her near to lifeless eyes looked at me sending me a grim reminder of how fragile someone can be.
I stood there in front of what remains of my memories with her that could stay for a lifetime.
It's here again. That voice.
"Seth..."
She appeared right before me. An enigma of mystery yet it felt warm and cozy.
"A mission I will give and a chance I shall bestow..."
"Will you take it?"
My eyes teared a little with little hope that I still clung onto.
From then on, I was her sword.
I sworn to be her sword, Her hand and wrath.
All for an exchange to prevent that day from ever happening again.
