One of the council members raised her hand, and Ardi acknowledged her with a nod. She was a poised woman with piercing eyes who searched the room as if she were the only one present.
"What happens if there are more than two candidates?" she asked, her voice full of authority.
Ardi leaned back in his chair, his hand propped up on his chin. "If there are more than two candidates, a preliminary election will be held to narrow the field down to two. The final election will then be held between the two remaining candidates."
Another council member, a man with a bold demeanor, interjected. "What about the student council division? How will we be involved in the process?"
