Jono still heard the river otters screaming from the cave passage. He thought that the mysterious person who was chasing him must be being held back by the sheer number of otters.
"Fortunately, that person is quite stupid; I hope the river otters can beat that person," he said, snickering.
Jono can only be prepared to face the possibilities that might occur. The first possibility is that he will face the mysterious person directly; the second possibility is that he will face the river otters.
However, if he could choose, Jono would prefer the river otters to win. Jono cannot hide his presence when facing a human, but he can do so when facing the river otters.
"Worst possible, I can only take advantage of the situation in this place to survive," he thought while observing his surroundings.
