Chapter 97 - River Otter

Jono slightly expressed the pain he felt while observing the injuries on his body from falling into this cave. His body was covered in scratches and bruises. His clothes were full of rips and covered in wet soil.

"I'm not sure whether I'm lucky or not this time," Jono said while shaking his head.

First, when Jono accidentally saw two beasts fighting and managed to capture both of them, he considered himself lucky. But when Tongsong confronted him and intended to seize his captured beasts, he considered himself unlucky.

Furthermore, Jono encounters a wolf beast that saves him from a fight with Tongsong; he regards this as a stroke of luck because it causes Tongsong to fail to take the beast he has captured. But he had also become the prey of this wolf beast, and he considered this to be unlucky.
