Jono then whispered to Alvi and told him to ask Mr. Wili about the limitations of this device. He didn't want to ask Mr. Wili directly.
Alvi wholeheartedly raised his hand and asked Mr. Wili. He didn't suspect at all why Jono didn't ask Mr. Wili himself.
"This device I've brought is only of basic-grade quality, which can only be used on people who have the power level of the first or initial phase, so the highest point that this device can display is 100.0 points," Mr. Wili answered with a smile. He seemed to have known there would be students who would question this.
"For power levels above the initial phase, you must use a device with a higher quality," he continued explaining.
When Jono heard this, he formed a variety of opinions. One was that his soul power had most likely surpassed that of someone else in the initial phase.
"It's unrealistic. Is it true that I'm this good? I don't think so," Jono said in his mind with a wry smile.
