Chapter 33 - Watched

"Class [A]?"

" [A] for A…ssh*l* you mean?" a student sitting at the table next to Jono and Alvi's dining table. The student stood up and looked at the group of new students from class [A]. He was also a first-year student; he was about 165 centimeters tall, quite tall compared to other students his age.

"Rob, you're also from class [A], right!?"

"How come you're defending them?"

"On top of that, you're mocking class [A]."

"Don't try to interfere," said a new student who acted like the leader of the group of students from class [A].

"Class [A]?"

"All of you are just a bunch of idiots who are proud of their class assignment," Robi said as he left his table and headed toward the outside of the cafeteria.

Jono and Alvi also stood up and brought their food to the food booth to wrap it, and then they walked outside the canteen. The two of them were no longer in the mood to eat in the canteen.

While walking out of the cafeteria, Jono looked at the group of new students from class [A] while opening his mouth like he was saying the word "stupid" without making a sound. This was seen earlier by the leader of the new student group, which made him even more annoyed.

"B*st*rd!" yelled the leader of the student group angrily.

"Calm down, Dun; don't cause too much trouble for the time being," the round-faced student advised.

"And for Robi, he is indeed among the top ten new students for now, but I'm sure you can beat him in the new rankings at the end of this semester," said the round-faced student in the group.

"Tong, who was the lowly new student earlier?"

"We have to teach them a lesson," said Madun, the leader of the group.

"Yes, they underestimate us too much," said Tongsong, the round-faced student. "I don't know who they are; I'll ask my father later," Tongsong added.

"Okay, I'll leave it to you, Tong," Madun said with a furrowed brow.

The group then ate at their previous table of conflict, laughing out loud. The noise they made earlier did not attract much attention in the canteen. They bothered only a few students.

"Aren't they this year's freshmen?"

"They're just new students, but they've been naughty like that," a second-year student with a distinctive bald head said.

"That's Madun and his friends; it's only natural that they are like that because Madun is the son of the vice principal," explained the student next to the bald student.

"Oh, so he's Madun," the bald student said, "who is said to be one of the most talented new students, to the point where the vice principal always praises him at school."

"He is indeed quite talented, but he can't even make it into the top ten new students this year for this school."

"Ever since the vice principal found out about Madun's talent, the vice principal always talks about his son throughout the school; now his gifted child is not even in the top ten," said the female student sitting opposite the bald student.

"There is information that says the ranking of new students for each high school this year is not carried out by the school but directly by the central government, the city-level education department; if the school did it, Madun would rank first," said the bald student with a cynical laugh.

"Based on the nature of the vice principal, it must be so."

"I can imagine that the vice principal is now at the peak of his bad emotions after knowing the rank of his son, who is not in the top ten, hahaha," said the long-haired student across from the bald student.

Many other conversations are taking place in the canteen, one of which is taking place in a private room. Only school teachers and student council executives have access to private rooms in the canteen.

In one of these private rooms, a group of six male students and five female students were gathered. These eleven teenagers wore blue attributes with the student council symbol; some wore them on their upper arms, on their thighs, on their heads, and even used them as hair ties.

One of the students who wears round glasses and is in one corner of the table put a spoon on his plate and starts talking first: "New students this year, many have a high aptitude," he said, starting the conversation.

"The top ten new students at our school this year even entered the top hundred new students for high school level throughout West Witwur City," he continued.

"Not only that, in fact, around twenty or so new students come from well-known big families, well-known organizations, and even top-tier guilds," a student wearing the student council attribute as a headband explained, "and nearly half of this year's new students were from the inner area," he continued.

"This is indeed very strange; the previous year there were less than ten people from the inner area, while this year there were many times more than the previous years," said the student who wears the round glasses "President, do you know something that caused this to happen?" continued that student while looking at the student who was sitting at the head of the table or between two rows of chairs facing each other.

Several students in the room also turned their gazes toward the student council president. Seeing the curious student council members, she sighed slightly.

"Based on the information I got, there is an expert who graduated from our school a long time ago and will return to this school to teach," said a student who was the student council president. "This expert is said to have had a power level at the peak of the third phase several years ago," she added.

Judging from the expressions on the faces of all the student council members in this room, most were shocked to hear this news; they probably just heard about this shocking information. Only the three other students besides the student council president didn't look too surprised about this information; either they were aware of it beforehand or they were better at concealing their expressions.

An expert at the peak of the third phase was extremely rare; in this West Witwur City, only well-known families, large organizations, and certain large companies could have people with this power level. In this city, less than ten people are known to have a power level at the peak of the third phase.

Apart from this student council group, discussions about this also took place in various other places. Many students have also heard this news from their families or organizations that are aware of this information.

Jono is unaware of this information. All he knows is that many talented students are currently enrolled at this school.

After school, Alvi invites Jono to hunt for street food or snacks again at JSG, but Jono refuses this time; he wants to go straight home to rest so that tonight he has the energy for his routine training.

Arriving at the bus stop near his apartment building, Jono immediately walked to his apartment. Unbeknownst to him, at this time, there were people following him from a distance from the bus stop earlier.

"Huh?"

"It turns out that this brat is just a new high school student," Anggin muttered as he trailed Jono from a distance.

"After knowing his apartment and the road he often passes, Angger and I will devise a plan to trap this clueless brat," he said while gritting his teeth. Anggin still remembers the pain caused by the blow of Jono's heavy sword back at JSG.

Jono did not know that he was currently being watched, but he still walked casually into his apartment. Anggin didn't leave immediately after knowing the location of Jono's apartment; instead, he sent this information to his friend, Angger.

"B*st*rd boy, just watch; soon you will know what the word pain is," Angger said, a little angry while looking at the building where Jono lived.

When Jono arrived at his apartment, he went straight to his bed; he needed to rest and take a short nap. He sat on the sofa in his living room after a nap and ordered food online, which he could do with his smartwatch.

Half an hour later, the food he ordered arrived. He ordered fried chicken with spicy sauce and rice. He ate the food he ordered voraciously while watching the video instruction regarding the basic fighting techniques he learned from school previously.

The first basic technique video that Jono set was the basic technique of freestyle boxing, part one. This basic technique explains the basic movements that new students must practice.

The basic moves taught in this video consist of two attacking strokes and one defensive stance. The two attacking strokes are a jab and an uppercut, while the defensive stance is called a block stance.

For today's exercise, Jono wants to practice these movements first. He realized that this basic technique, coupled with Outan's gravity field skill, would be the right combination.
