The next day, Jono went to school very early. Arriving at the school gate, he found Alvi waiting for him.
"You came very early, Al," Jono said while looking at his smartwatch, which displayed the current time, which was still half-past six in the morning.
"I just arrived a little earlier than you, Jon," Alvi explained with a face that looked still sleepy.
"Let's go!" Alvi invited Jono to enter the school area. They greeted the gate guard with a slight nod and a smile.
The school gates have not yet been fully opened this morning, but Jono and Alvi have arrived with their cleaning equipment, such as brooms and trash scoops, to get to work. They don't wear their school uniforms when doing this task for fear of getting wet with sweat. They would put their uniforms back on after finishing their assignments and drying their sweat.
