When they heard this, some of the students looked interested and excited, while others appeared a little confused about the purpose of the question, and some of them just didn't think much of it. Jono was puzzled by the student's question because he believed that if there was no gain, the fight would be pointless.
Then one of the boys in Jono's training group quipped, "Maybe he wants to challenge someone in his class," he said in a low voice.
"Yes, it could be," another student responded.
"I hope he doesn't challenge me," another student expressed concern with a bit of fear.
"At least he'll challenge the students he knows," said the female student in Jono's group. "Thats right, we're in a different class with him; he's probably not going to target us," said another female student.
Jono, who overheard the students in his group's conversations, agreed with what they were saying. He also hopes to avoid becoming the target of challenges from students who are stronger than him.
