He looked back at the descriptions of the beasts from Leaf Snake and Night Otter. But he couldn't draw any conclusions because the two beasts had completely different element types.
Jono repeated the process with the third beast, the Red Tree Squirrel, but after being controlled to absorb the magic energy from the squirrel-shaped carcass, the butterfly puppet did not absorb the magic energy of the squirrel carcass. Then he controlled his other puppet, which was a cat puppet, but the cat puppet also couldn't absorb the magic energy from the squirrel carcass.
Jono did this over and over with other beasts, but his two puppets could absorb none of the next beast's carcasses.

The super ability of his butterfly puppet is an ability that can mimic the appearance of other beasts or creatures by sucking the carcasses of the beast he wants to imitate. The shapeshifting ability of his butterfly puppet can even use the abilities of the beasts it mimics.
Jono was pleased with the butterfly puppet's super ability because it was a very cool super ability in his opinion. But his butterfly puppet couldn't shapeshift or transform into a beast that had a power level higher than it, because the butterfly puppet wouldn't be able to absorb the body of a beast that had a much higher level of power than it. But still, this is a very cool super ability.
Although the super ability of his butterfly puppet is very cool, Jono's face is a little ugly at the moment because he's thinking of several things about his puppets, especially his cat puppet. His cat puppet cannot absorb all kinds of beasts, which are associated with different elements. This made him think hard and imagine certain terrible possibilities.
