Edmund and four of them were shock when Arthur knew that information. There's been a lot of things happen in the past few hours. But this one was big to them, Arthur didn't finish yet. There's still something missing there.
"But the odds were no one told me someone missing from their army. This one man wasn't even on the list. I also didn't recognize if Edmund wasn't rush into me. He's the one who told me that someone missing from the army."
"So, do you want to tell us that our man betrayed us!?" Ellia was full of rage when he explained all those things.
"I don't know, I won't to jump in any conclusion yet before he tells us everything he know." He pointed at Edmund, even though he knew Edmund wasn't ready to speak in front of those legend. Although, Edmund was understood it now or never.
"Mmm, so I what I want to say is…." He thought about it for a second, he didn't know where to start, "This missing man is my friend, we guard this wall together."
Edmund stopped again, it felt so hard to say what he knows. He was witness something terrible happened to his close friend. He sipped his drink slowly, hope the alcohol would help him through this story. They're waited for Edmund to take his time, the only sound in the room was only from the fire burned the log.
"We were upstairs when it all happened, we guard together. I leave him before midnight to checked something in the second post…." He breathed again, and his eyes stared at the ceiling. He nearly cried but he still holds it, "When I came back, someone murdered him right in front of my own eyes…" Finally, teardrops running out his eyes just like the snow that suddenly pouring down in the outside.

Edmund really tried hard to but this time he failed, his tears dripping down when he remembered it. Never being easy for Edmund to pictured and told them everything he saw that day. It just the matter of hour and now his friends really gone. Again, he remembered his purpose to tell Arthur about it. He wanted justice for his own friend, so he wanted to finish it.
"Who's they?" Kenric was the one who asked the first question.
He still tried to controlled his tears before answer it, "A few other guards beat him to death, then the head chief took my friend sword and stabbed it through his stomach. When I first saw my friend there, I was hiding behind the pile of log. I shame on myself who couldn't save him."
"That's brutal!!!" Maximus screamed and full of anger when heard the story.
Arthur walked towards him and sat next to Edmund. He patted his shoulder, "We all pray for your friend Edmund, God knows the truth. Don't blame yourself about all of this okay."
Arthur tried to made him comfortable before asked the question. "Do you know who it was? The people who murdered him."
He shook his head, "I just know one man, the head chief…It's not the end."
All of them didn't expect if there's still information there because Arthur already had something in his mind. They back to silent while Arthur kept looking at his eyes. His tears now gone, and he's calm enough to tell the rest of the story. His eyes full of anger and revenge but in the other side, his brown eyes spark some fear there.
Arthur understood the situation and this kid feeling, he really knew the fear inside his heart but Edmund anger much bigger then his own fear. "Slowly Edmund. Just tell us everything and we will help you with your problem."
Edmund nodded, "I saw something strange. First even though I just a freshman in the Maria army, I know everyone name but not these guys who beat my friend. Second, they threw my friend body down to make it look like an accident. Not long after they did it, four black suited from head to toe came up. They had a little discussion over there, but then they ran to the city."
Five of them started to understand the situation there. Especially Arthur, it answered all of his questions. The blood stain on the wall, the blood stain under the wall, and the arrow that come to Ellia's bar.
"Ouhh shit, now I see the line here." Arthur looked at John and Ellia. They nodded because now they understand.
"So that's explain it." Ellia stared at Arthur eyes with an anger in her eyes. Arthur just smiled because he knew that Ellia really angry with it.
"Here's the situation Edmund." Arthur said it with the hard tone, "Someone attack me and my friends just few hours ago. Until now, we couldn't find who they were."
"What!? There's an attack inside our kingdom?" Edmund really shock when heard it directly from Arthur.
"Yes…yes. Your information really helps us to figure the situation."
"By the way Arthur. I found something interesting here." Johnathan jumped into the conversations. "I came to Max after that attack. Our attackers are serious to kill us."
"What do you mean?"
"I will tell you what happen." Kenric stood up, "I took Max to his place because this big beast can't even stand to alcohol. Luckily, I was made a good decision because someone put a trap in Max house. It's a magic line with deadly spell in it. It could make his house disappear with another building around it."
Arthur didn't look surprise anymore since the situation turned crazy in just past few hours. But Ellia was furious, "The hell they even put trap in Max's place. What happen in this kingdom? No one in this empire even notice with this kind of attack. How can we protect our kingdom?!?"
"El, calm down…" John wanted to calm her with her temper.
"Don't tell me to calm down John! Don't you understand about the situation!!??" She raised her voice more than usual.
"I know!!! But if we don't think this with cool head then we just play in their own game," he also raised his voice there.
"Let me just put my arrow in your head until you understand this John!!!" She almost grabbed her bow near her but luckily Arthur stopped her.
"Enough!!! He's right, El…" Arthur spoke because the tension raised with their argument. "Just calm down for a sec, right?"
"Fuck!!!" She walked back to the counter and poured drink to another glass.
Kenric smiled, "Hahahaha, if you guys are down with your little battle…let me continue,"
They still on heated head but Arthur forced them to stop. "Arthur, the arrow that came to you also being poisoned. It's rare poison there, if I was them it would be total failure because they attack you with this rare poison and yet you still alive."
Maximus gave the arrow to Arthur. He looked in the tip of it and he could sense it was different from the start. "These guys really want us dead Arthur." Max didn't speak much because he's a fighter and not a thinker, "Just your command, then I'll put this axe to their head."
Edmund couldn't survive in their conversations because the legends were talking each other with an attack and trap. It was hard for him to understand it, everything going so fast for him. He's still young and never going to battlefield before. He wanted a revenge for his friend but he didn't feel right to come with Arthur and the four horsemen.
"Just calm down, no need to worry here." Arthur aware to Edmund fear.
"Thankyou my lord…but," He wanted to ask a question but his mouth stopped before it came out. He didn't feel right to give a question to his own lord.
"What? Just said it," Arthur convince him once again.
Edmund took a deep breath, "Do the King now about all of this?"
Five of them were looking at each other because it was sensitive question for Arthur. His conflict with his father really drive him crazy. Even at that moment Arthur didn't know how to tell the King. Although he really know it was his responsibility to talk to his father. He just remembered his goals to protect the people, it's enough to make him did all of these things.
He just smiled, "He will…don't worry,"
The whole room became quiet and no one didn't want to response to his words. They didn't want to say the wrong thing there. So everyone just silent there, even though it's awkward over there still no one tried to say anything.
"But now," Arthur himself that break the tension over there. "Let's just drink and relax, shall we…"
Then the room back to usual, they gave no comment over there. Just drink until the sun raise and people come back to the activity. The rain had stop and only left white all over the place, they have fun like all of the attack didn't happen.
Arthur hold the glass full of whisky neat, 'And now, the dangerous part coming.' He said that line to himself then drank the whole glass and hope with that glass would make him sleep, with no fear, anxiety, or any stupid decision. 'I have to do what I should've done…'
