I got up and rubbed my eyes because I still couldn't believe that I was inside the book. The home furnishings and the people around who work are similar to the real world I came from. I looked at an old woman who called me Alexis. As much as I know, she is Alexis' mother, and she has an illness that will lead to her death.

"What year is it now?" Maria replied,

"Today is 500 b.c" I suppressed my surprise because Maria thinks that I'm crazy, and I don't realize the current year.

"Come, let's eat," she said.

"Why don't you just rest mom, it looks like you were working this morning" I was worried about her condition because Maria will die in a week and Alexis's uncle and step-sister will abuse her.

As far as I remember, I am in Chapter 1, Alexis McArthur is known as a weak, ignorant, servant, and her uncle consistently hurts her. They always compare her to her step-sister, Felicia McArthur. She is good at sewing, dancing, and cooking.

I only read the name Alexis once, and she died from being beaten by her uncle. "Hmph! But today it's different. I'm not the Alexis you knew before. I won't allow you to hurt ALEXIS MCARTHUR"
