It became silent throughout the entire island, no more the buzzing sound of the rift or the explosion and sounds of large feet walking around the island.
Everything has become silent with only one single figure standing there and gazing into the skies where the portal has opened.
Soon though, Nate's body started to shrink as he returned to his zombie form. He felt exhausted and needed a rest. This was something new for him, however, the moment he disable his form, all the tiredness went away.
Meanwhile, Lyon has landed on the island along with Leo. The whole place was a mess after the fight, not even a single sign of life could be seen. Everything has turned black due to the intense energy coming out from the fight.
"Is he dead already?" Lyon asked and Nate nodded.
"With me here, there will be no coming back for him... This is the end of his journey," Nate said.
Meanwhile, it was then he noticed the distressed expression of Leo. After all the battles and everything has come to an end, he was not happy at all.
Nate would have understood it if he didn't show any signs of emotions before due to having lived for a long time and had a lot of experience with the things of the world.
"The colonizer... He escaped" Leo said.
"I never knew he had such ability, I mean the ability to switch bodies," Nate said.
"Was it something similar to what Ozzie did?" Nate asked.
"No... This is different... In the colonizer case, when he switch body, he also goes out with his power and also possesses the power of his new body.
"Why didn't you mention it earlier?" Nate asked.
"Because I just learned about it,"
"While the fight was going on, I sent out Kim and his friends to the matrix lab where they extracted all the information they have about the colonizer," Leo explained.
Nate sighed. It was no one's fault that the colonizer escaped. Nate then asked.
"Is there a problem if he survives?"
Leo hesitated for a moment for saying.
"Didn't you see the body he went out with... It was a mini version of the colossal bone. If I am correct, the colonizer will try to build his army and with his power, that will be an easy task for him," Leo said.
Nate seems to understand now why Leo was worried. If the colonizer had a small fraction of Ozzie's power, then coupling it with his power, getting beasts to work for him will be as easy as ABC.
Regardless, even if he wanted to attack the humans later in the future, then he first need someone to teleport him back here.
As for the people that might be able to do that, it was time for Nate to end it all.
By now, the ship that was blown away by the force of the fight have returned and loud cheers could be heard from inside.
Meanwhile, Nate and the others started walking towards them. When Nate arrived, some everywhere became silent again.
Meanwhile, Peter already knows what Nate wanted to do and quickly brought Kai out. The latter was shaking clearly afraid of his fate.
Some of those that were captivated by the matrix knew who Kai was and just now looking at him, they nearly pounced on him.
Nate looked at Kai and shook his head.
"I left you guys alone in the hope to avoid any trouble, but you guys decided to come after me, you attacked me and my people first at the Halloween town and you guys have kept on hunting me till now, but now, is different, now, I am going to end this hunting," Nate asked.
Kai had nothing to say, he know that they were wrong, Nate have not come after them even after he knew about their existence, rather they have been the ones bothering him.
At this point, Kai can only blame two people, Mia and the Skull headman. Mia was the person that dragged him into this in the first place. Mia was the one that forced him into the game world.
Unfortunately, Mia was dead and he couldn't vent his anger on him right now, he could only look at the Skull's head.
The skull head has merely been using them for his own goal, he has told them that they will never find peace as long as Nate was still alive.
However, it was only now that was he told by Leo how Nate was just only passing by.
It came as a shock to Kai but he could not do anything about it.
Just when Nate was ready to attack, Kai's body started to shake as another clone appeared. Immediately, Peter with his bloodline power finished Red up.
He was the only matrix that have been inside the space for a while now after Peter killed him without using his bloodline power.
Red wanted to make a run for it but it was useless.
Soon, though, Nate brought down the sword at Kai's neck slicing his head off while allowing his body to fall.
Almost immediately, black smoke came out from Kai's body. Normally, this was not the first time they have seen this type of thing, normally when a matrix-blooded weapon was destroyed, this always happens.
However, this time it was different, the smoke to enormously large and also thick. It took a shake of a skull head in the air.
"Ahhhhh....!" the skull shouted.
"You Leo... You did it again, you ruin my plans, you have always been ruining my plans"
"I will find a new host and I will come back and make this world a terrible place for you and your friends to live in!" the skull head shouted.
"Unfortunately, I will be locking you up, let's see how you find a new host while inside a bottle," Leo said before he called out for Lynn.
The skull head didn't understand what Leo meant but soon, he will understand, he felt his body moving towards Leo all of a sudden. The latter have already pulled out a small sphere-shaped bottle and held it out with its top opened.
"No... No... Please don't trap me don't lock me up, I beg you... Please...!!!" slowly the skull head's voice faded and it was replaced with a lot of cheer from everyone, their problems have been solved and it was time for them to get a good night's rest after all the battle.
