Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 383 - Hive mind.

Chapter 383 - Hive mind.

Now that Ozzie has been defeated, their next goal was to go after the matrix.

Although their whereabouts were still unknown, Sin and his men have already left to look for them.

"Can you please explain more about the colonizer?" Nate demanded.

Mark waved his hand and a hologram appeared in front of them with the details of the zombie.

[Name = colonizer]

[type = controller]

[Race = undead]

[Title = horde builder]

"The zombie can control any zombie or beast once they spot its sweet saliva substance," Mark explained.

"Who cares if the matrix has it, we can just kill it, I mean, zombies are no longer worthy for us to be worried about," Lyon said.

"That's true, but you see, horde-building zombies are different, especially the one we have here,"

"The file also states that this colonizer substance is not just only alluring to zombies and beasts. It is said to also have vitamins in it that will boost the strength of the zombies and beast greatly," Mark explained.

"That's not all, this is another skill of the zombie that we really need to look out for," Mark said as the screen changed into a shadow figure.

"The zombie's other ability is the hive mind, this in particular is was makes the zombie more dangerous,"

"It is said that the more zombies that eat the zombie's saliva, the more they become loyal to it. With its hive mind power, the zombie would be able to merge it's with zombies making it grow stronger and larger,"

"Is the matrix has this zombie and information at the same time, I am presuming that they by now would have been gathering more zombies into the hive," he said.

"Your explanation made a lot of sense though, but we have a serious problem if it is true," Leo said.

"Finding zombies in nowadays the world is simply easy because they could just stun into a city and all the zombies there is follow them. This will put our zombie hunting on pause till we figure out how to deal with the matrix,"

"Our second problem is that if the matrix has been gathering zombies just like we anticipated, then we possibly will be going against something as big as Ozzie, if not bigger,"

It was a sad thing, the group had yet to finish their joy over defeating Ozzie and now, they most likely will be going against something stronger than Ozzie himself.

"However, remember, we plan to get rid of the matrix, if we can do that, then, it will be all over, we don't necessarily need to kill them colonizer anyways," Leo said.

"But how are we meant to kill five peoples that barely stays together," Bull asked.

"For that, we don't have to kill them immediately, if you see any of the origins of the matrix, capture, them and keep them alive," Nate said.

With that being said, the meeting was rounding up and in no time, everyone have left to do their respective duties. Now with them having in mind what they might be going after, the only option for them was to train.

Meanwhile, Nate has gone to a specially prepared room for himself. It was luxurious as the leader, though he didn't mind.

Sitting on the floor with crossed legs, Nate opened his inventory space and took out a crystal.

Instantly, he felt the air beside him change as he held the demon-level crystal in his hand.

It has been decided by him on what to do with the crystal. From the fight, he already knew what the demon's power was.

Nate brought out his axe and then the bones of the demon.

[Master craft activated]

He selected the upgrading option and started his crafting process. And in no time, the earth's first demon-level weapon was created by Nate.

Holding the axe, Nate felt the energy from the axe and swung it. As he did so, the weapon lit up in flame.

Nate quickly controlled the weapon before it leave his finger and destroy the ship.

"I will keep you for later," Nate said to himself and place the weapon back in his inventory. He didn't even bother to check the weapon's special powers as it was clear that it has something to do with fire.

Now that he was through with this, he opened the system and started looking through his rewards.

Soon, he found the main reward that he had been waiting to see.

[Max Out = This is a one-time use item, it allows the host to mass level up]

[Degree of level up is unknown]

'I don't need the system to inform me since I will be using it now,' Nate thought.

[Max out has been used]

[Level up]

[Level up]

[Level up]...

[Congratulations, you are now at level 99]

[100 attribute points have been granted]

[Skill points = 100,000]

[Attribute point= 100]

Nate couldn't believe his eyes. He has jumped a total of fifty levels. Now he was feeling like a cheater by using such a thing.

Another mind-blowing thing was his attribute point, he has received a total of hundred of them. It was an insane amount to have at a time.

Soon, though, Nate's mind started to process the whole occurrence lowly. He thought of how this will help them greatly against the matrix. He no longer thought of it as a cheat, after all, he was the one that fought to earn it if not anything, he deserves it.

'This and the demon-level beast... Surely, Mia and Kai, you guys are doomed,' Nate thought with a smile.

[You are now close to your last level up]

[Experience point required = 1,000,000,000]

[New quest from your blood = become a god]

Regardless of the new quest, Nate's attention was on the required point for his next level up.

"One billion!"

Meanwhile, as Nate thought that the matrix will be in for a surprise when they next sees each other, the matrix was having the same thought on their mind as they worked on their next project.

A strange ancient pattern was drawn other the floor with red paint. The drowning was like two stars bisecting each other and then a circle surrounding it like a fence.

A few more designs were imputed as well. On the floor of the diagram was two stone, one was a red meteorite and the other was a blue meteorite.

These were the ingredients needed to open a porter to a particular area.

"It is completed," Green said looking at the diagram before him. No doubt, it was the same as the one he saw at the forever winter island.

"Why hasn't it opened already?" Kai asked.

"It's because the blue crystal is not yet activated," Green explained. "We need to bring one of the zombies here," Green instructed.

Not long, a regular-looking zombie was brought in and the moment the blue rock sensed the zombie, it started glowing flowed by the red rock and then the pattern.

"It is working... Get speed ready, the moment that portal opens, he has to rush in before any other creatures from before rush in," Mia commanded.

"I doubt they could fit through such a tiny hole that can barely fit an adult human," Kai said.

"We can't afford to take a chance," Mia replied.

It didn't take long for the portal to open and speed quickly rushed in as fast as he could.

The moment it was confirmed that he was on the other side, Mia shouted again.

"Deactivate the portal now," he shouted.

And soon, the portal was deactivated and it was closed. Just as quickly as it was activated, it was shut down at the same time.

"Now let's go and see how he reacts when he sees a human on the other side," Mia said as he walked out of the room.
