In the end, Nate and Peter walked out of the cell satisfied with the information Rowling has provided.
Finally, Nate's suspicion has been cleared and he was right. The Rowling boss is none other than Ozzie and he was the one requesting for these people.
As for what he does with them, Rowling had no idea and Nate couldn't become angry at him.
The latter was already under his command and there is no way he will be able to resist his influence over him.
Using his force initiator skill didn't bring back good feelings for Nate. He could still remember Jim. Jim was someone that nearly killed him and in the end, Nate had no other choice but to force initiate him since he didn't really want to get rid of the latter.
In the end, Jim has turned out to be a useful member of them. With his crafting skill, Nate know that time that Jim was irreplaceable.
Unfortunately, the latter was the only Nate horde member that died during the second fight with the matrix.
Even at that, the latter legacy was still attached to the system in the form of a skill called master craft.
Since then, Nate hasn't been using the force initiator skill.
Rowling's case was a bit different now. Just from a few talks with Nate, he has already noticed how strong Will Rowling was and when he said he won't say anything, Nate know more than anybody that Rowling meant it.
"We won't be killing him... Perhaps, he might even lead us to that Ozzie guy and his hideout," Nate explained to Peter who felt like it was better if Rowling was killed.
However, after hearing Nate's intention, Peter felt like it was the best thing to do. Since Goo is no longer alive and what was left in the base was his mere clone which was created by Dike.
Of course, after learning that Ozzie is also a zombie. Nate knows that the clone Goo will be discovered since his current scent differs from before.
Eventually, Nate and Peter have arrived at their destination after a while of walking about. The ship was big and had many departments inside.
This time, they arrived at what seemed to be reserved for a meeting to take place.
However, on entering the room, the dog could see than hanging on the wall with his hand and legs shackled onto it.
The was blindfolded and on his chest, a word was written. Zombie hunter.
"Well...well...well...!"
"What do we have here...?" Nate said sarcastically as he went to sit down at one side of the room.
"Who are you and what do you want...?!!" Tel shouted in panic. All Tel could remember was trying to punish the matrix for what they did to him but before he could do that, he was knocked out.
He only woke up to a pitch-black environment. That's what he thought since he was blindfolded and they have stayed long in his eyes that he can't feel it anymore.
"That question sounds ridiculous and I will give you a ridiculous answer..!" Nate continued to speak.
As he was speaking, Peter was walking to the opposite side of the room and was making noise in the process to cast more fear into Tel and it seems to be working.
Tel was looking from one corner of the room to another confused. If he was to follow Nate's movement, perhaps, he could make out where he was at the moment but with two footsteps being heard, he was frightened and couldn't help but ask.
"Is this hell... Did I die in that fight and go to hell?..." his body was trembling as he spoke. First, he can everywhere be dark and second, he can hear one voice but two footsteps.
"Cut that crap... You are not dead, at least not yet, but if you want to remain alive, then you have to comply," Nate said.
Although Tel didn't say anything in response, his silence have said it all. First, he was interested in where he was and who was the person before him.
"I will start with my identity... I am Nate Way, and currently, I am a zombie, one of the high-intelligence zombies," Nate announced while pausing to see Tel's reaction.
Of course, there was his heartbeat that couldn't stop pounding upon hearing what Nate was. It was apparent to him that must have seen the word written on his chest.
"I know what you are... I know your priority is to kill all zombies but trust me, lately, I have decided to do the same, however, I am not killing them rather, I am only capturing them while storing them away...,".
"I know it might sound stupid right.? A zombie hunting another zombie. Anyways, am aware you understood what happened earlier with some of your trusted men snitching you. Well, that is the work of the matrix. Although the zombies might pose a threat to humanity, the matrix is a greater threat that needs to be gotten rid of because of their power," Nate began to explain.
"Even if you guys were able to kill all the zombies in this entire world, the matrix will do greater damage to humanity,"
Nate now went down to explain how the matrix power worked and what their aim was entire.
"Why are you telling me all this?" Tel asked. He was confused as to why Nate was telling him all this information.
"It's simple... I won't say that I don't need your help, however, if you won't offer your help at least leave me alone. Stop hunting down the zombies," Nate eventually said...
If the zombie hunter won't help in killing the matrix, at least they should stop causing problems for him.
Tel could only remain for a while before saying. "I will see what I can do. Perhaps if I return to the head quieter, I can convince the leaders to do as you said," Tel decided...
With that, he was expecting Nate to free him now. However, Nate only took off his blindfold, allowing the light to hit his eye.
"Ahhh...!!!" Tel closed his eyes as he slowly adjusted to the room light.
His eyes managed to see Nate just for a moment but Tel was not letting this opportunity slide as he quickly used his power.
In an instant, Nate found himself in the shackles while Tel was now in his position before.
Quickly, Tel was making a run for it, but he noticed that he was not moving, or rather he had fallen.
Looking down, he could see his leg detached from his body while Peter was standing not too far from it with his fingernails out and long.
However, that was not the only shocking thing Tel was seeing because right behind Peter, he could see Nate ripping the shackles and breaking free.
"How...how is that possible?!" He said trying to crawl away from Nate.
"You don't seem to get it young man... The matrix is a greater problem, but since you won't use your power for something useful, I might as well take it away from you and hand it over to someone able," Nate said.
Just like that, Tel was killed and Nate have to turn him into an undead to get his power.
