It has been three days since the fight has ended. Nate and his horde were now busy building up the military base again.
Of course, Nate has left all the work for Bull who didn't seem bad with it. Having at a point in his life led a squad of his own, Bull didn't find the task hard.
With his help, the remaining soldier was able to comply, though they are yet to pledge to the base but Nate was still planning about that.
The base had close to five thousand manpower but after the fight, the number decreased drastically.
While Bull was keeping a check on the soldiers, Nate was also explaining a few things to the others.
He has introduced the master craft machine to the others and has explained how it works.
After that, he and Mark have been running a few things in the base lab. Mark was more than happy to have all the equipment and resources that will help him in his experiment.
Another thing that made the scientific zombie happy was the blueprint Nate gave him. Mark didn't waste time studying the blueprint and was happy that Nate gave him such a thing as a gift.
Regardless, he and Nate have been busy running some experiments on how to create more tyrants and also how to create strong titans.
With the tyrant crystal Nate had, more of his undead have been turned into titans. About five in number including the first one.
After three days of waiting, it was finally time for Nate to pledge the soldiers and also the few survivors into his territory.
Haven has taken all their blood sample into a bowl, and Nate started the ritual in front of everyone.
Of course, Nate could have decided to initiate the soldiers but a few things have happened to Nate for the past few days that Nate isn't pleased with.
'Three days, and yet only one level up. The number of experience points I need to level up is now high than my normal day's point,' Nate thought.
[Exp = 49,850,500 /173,504,000]
'At this point, I will only be able to level up in two or three days... I need to increase the number of my pledged members if I still want to level up daily,' Nate thought as he finished the ritual.
[2,157 members have been added to your pledge members]
[Pledge members = 42,317]
This amount wasn't much of an increase, but Nate didn't mind. After the whole event was through, Nate have privilege the pledge the pledge members a few things to keep them intact.
Some of his skills were privileged to them such as his inventory, access to the master craft machine and so on.
After that, the soldiers were meant to continue with their daily tasks, going out to rescue more survivors, the only difference this time was that Nate is not planning to sell them out as slaves rather, he was sending them to the prison base where some amendments have been made.
As everything seems to be going in order, Nate has decided to call for a meeting among his horde members.
Everyone was present, even Lyon, V, Ron and Tony were present.
"From what I have heard after going through the military files, all those that have been shipped out were all being taken to this place," Kim said as he pointed out a place on the hologram map in front of them.
The young man and his friends were allowed to attend this meeting, after all, there were the ones that knows more than anyone how the base was run.
And also, they were now part of nate horde although it's just a mere pledged member, but the for seems to have some useful ability with them that warranted their presence in the meeting.
"Isn't that the forever winter land...why would they be shipping people there?" Sin who recognized the area of the map voiced out.
"Perhaps they are moving them to the settlement there?" Twain answered.
Nate has told them about the settlement and as a matter of fact, they were planning to visit the forever winter island again because of the settlement.
Meanwhile, Kim seeing that the others had an idea of what the place was, was puzzled. "You guys seem to know that place?" Kim said.
"Yeah...anyway, is there not any information about why they are taking them there?" lyon asked.
Hearing this, another picture appeared on the hologram screen.
"This is a deal general goo sighed with someone. From the look of things, the other party seems to have been the one that placed general goo in his position and in return, the general goo will have to send some people to him. It happened that this person must have lived in the winter land that's why all the captives were taken in that direction," Kim explained.
Regardless of how it might sound that this was the work of an individual, Nate couldn't help but think about the government.
'According to Leo, the settlement was built by the governments and some powerful and wealthy people in this world when they discovered about the apocalypse,'
'If someone was shipping people in that large size towards there. There is no way the government didn't know about this...what if this is their way of helping humanity...,'
Looking at it from an angel, one might think it was a bad thing to ship people there against their own will. However, Nate has been to forever winter island knowing that it was one of the safest places to leave in this apocalyptic world.
Zombies couldn't survive there, and the rate of beasts roaming around that area was pretty low. If the governments were taking people there to keep them safe, it was good, but Nate know that was not the case.
'General has always been speaking about this his friend, and also the man I met on the ship back then... Maybe if we stay and make things seem normal, then he might visit again. We can now use that opportunity to capture him and ask him a few questions,' Nate thought.
He soon, shared his thoughts with the others while everyone seems to agree with his plan. Thankfully, General Goo was too cocky and didn't try to call for help from this his friend while he was being attacked.
"The problem though is when will he visit and trust me, I don't have a good feeling about him though," Kim said.
"You think it we all go after him that we won't be able to take him down...?" Lyon glared at Kim who didn't say anything in reply.
"He's right though... General Goo has turned out to be more troublesome than I thought, imagine what someone that gives him the power will be like... No matter what, we won't take this matter lightly." Nate said.
"We will wait for a week for the man to come, and if after that, there is no sign of him, then we will go looking for him in the forever winter land," Nate instructed and with that, the meeting was over and everyone was ready to leave the meeting room.
However, someone had called Nate aside. It was Bull and he was not the only one.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" Nate asked.
Bull looked at the others which showed a sign that what he wanted to say had something to do with zombie stuff.
V, along with his friends exited the room before Kim and his friends also followed after.
"Naaa. I just need some sweet rest now..." Sin said as he also exited the room.
Lyon was still inside and it doesn't seem like he was planning to leave at any point. Regardless, Bull had no problem with Lyon being present. Lyon was more of a monster than a human and he believe none of what he will say will bother him, but Lynn couldn't stay as she got up and leave also.
Right now, Nate was left alone with Bull, Twain, Levi, Mark, Dike and Lyon.
"So what is it?" Nate asked soon after Lynn left.
"It's about my base... I have been hesitant to ask you this because even I am not sure if it is possible but I have seen it happen which has proved to me it was possible," Bull said.
"Can you go straight to the point..." Nate damaged.
Hearing this, Bull sighed. "I was wondering if a zombie could be turned back into a human..?"
