The initial reason why Nate visited the military base was all because of this quest.
After the military base has instructed Nate to give up his territory, a system notification has arrived telling him to protect his base. Surprisingly, the first batch of militants that Nate dealt with wasn't the end of the quest.
Because of this, Nate decided to end it all starting from the root.
However, on getting to the base, it is safe to say that Nate was distracted from other things such as the activities going on in the base.
Rather than wanting a diamond medal reward, what Nate wanted was information. He wanted to know all that general goo knows.
He could have gotten what he wanted if not for the turn of events. General Goo has committed suicide and in the process has also destroyed his brain which was meant to give Nate all the answers he wanted.
With all of this haven occurring, Nate could only rely on the diamond medal to give a satisfying reward.
[Diamond medal has been used]
[Instant Level up]
[The host can now privilege master craft skill for his pledge member and Horde members to use]
[Skill mart]
Nate was staring dazzle at the notification.
'I feel like the stronger I gets the more the rewards I get decrease. If it was before, a diamond medal surely would have granted me five instant levels up with many more but now this,' Nate thought.
A diamond medal was presented to him with three items as his reward. One was an instant level up, the second was a privilege and then the third was something Nate didn't know if it is a skill or not.
'I can now privilege the master craft skill for others to use, but won't that mean me privileging them the system also,' Nate thought.
For all Nate horde, they all have access to Nate's system but the same couldn't be said for his pledge members.
Just as Nate has a very close connection to his lesser wight, his privileged members were the ones he have a lesser connection to. The reason he still has them was all because of the free morning experience points if.
Not understanding much about the privilege, Nate decided to inquire about the system.
[Privileging master craft to your horde is just like the teleportal skill. The most host must build a structure of any kind for it to work]
'You seem to surprise my system, at times you answer my question, at times you just ignored me,' Nate thought with a smile.
Since he wasn't in a rush, Nate decided to do something with his time. The whole area was messed up but not everything in the lab have been destroyed.
One of the few things that were still intact in the lab was a small terminal that was currently empty.
[Privilege Master craft]
Nate saw as the familiar fog enveloped the terminal and after a few moments, the smoke cleared out and the terminal was revealed again but this time different.
Looking at it, Nate thought that he was looking at a vending machine. The vending machine has a screen displaying all sorts of weapons that Nate has crafted before.
'This is cool...!!!' Nate thought joyfully.
With a machine like this, Nate strongly believes that it will be easy for one to use. All that needs to be done was insert the materials for the crafting and then select what you want to craft. The vending machine will start to craft.
Looking at one side of the crafting machine, Nate noticed another thing.
'I can also upgrade a weapon in this machine, then that means I will be the first to use it,' Nate thought and brought out his ice axe.
He placed it inside what seemed to be a drawer below the machine screen and then proceeded in taking out the titan crystal.
'I was wondering, if beast crystal can be used to make weapons, why can't zombie crystal be used for the same purpose? I would have loved to try the tyrant crystal out but I need to create more of those zombies. In the future, I might need to go against the whitebonez again,' Nate thought before looking at the titan crystal.
He had three of such crystals with him at the moment. 'I already have Scarlett and then Bull, do I still need a titan in my horde? Not just that, the titans I faced today seem to have some special ability that neither Bull nor Scarlett has,'
Nate was considering whether to keep the titan's crystal and use them for evolution for another titan in his horde or perhaps use it to upgrade his axe.
'It will be best if I use one of the crystals, ' Nate decided. Meanwhile, an idea came into his mind as he also went over to the titan's dead body.
Since the Titans were dead, it was easier for Nate to do what he wanted.
He started to remove the scales on the titan's body, revealing the inside. Nate continued this till an entire scale of a titan was no more. They then also started to take the titan's bone.
Nate knows nothing about making a weapon but one thing he knows is that the result of a weapon made from a beast bone and its crystal is stronger than one made from crystal alone.
He also put the bone and scale into the machine before selecting the upgrading icon.
[Your weapon will be upgraded now]
A familiar voice came from the crafting machine.
'So Jim's voice is also in this device, is that how it works,' Nate wondered.
While the weapon was upgrading, Nate still has one more thing to do.
Nate has used one whole of a titan to start his weapon upgrade. This now left two more dead bodies of Titans on the ground.
The problem is that the bodies were already disintegrating and in no time there will be no more.
'I can't allow this to happen, General was the one that created those titans and they have that special power, maybe Mark can figure out why they have such power and if possible, Can Bull or Scarlett learn the same power,' Nate wonders.
He went ahead to place the two dead bodies into his inventory and also did the same to the tyrant's body.
Just after he was through with that, a ding sound came from the vending machine.
'That was fast, ' Nate noticed.
Walking up to the crafting machine, Nate took out his axe.
'No physical appearance change but I can feel it when touching the axe. It is thicker than before,' Nate thought.
[Weapon status]
[Name = ???]
[Owner= Nate Way]
[Creator = Nate way]
[Special effect]
[Damge = -100hp from the victim]
[Strength= Double ×2]
[Agility = Double ×2]
[Special power]
[Ice ray = When hitting a target, a ray of ice will be sent through the body of the target and reduce its speed. Limitation: one and a half seconds]
[Ice thread= When swinging the weapon at a target, a sharp thread made from ice will shoot out from the edge of the axe and can cut through anything within its range]
[Shape shifting = The wielder of this weapon can shape-shift the weapon into any ideal shape of their choice. Note: the shape of the weapon should be returned to its axe shape after use]
[Call = the last person that wields this weapon can call it back into his hand no matter how far they are from the weapon]
[New Skill= Explosive mood]
[Explosive mood = When using this skill, the host endurance will increase x2, to prevent the host from getting affected by the explosion that will go off when the weapon hits its target]
Nate noticed that the axe can now do up to 100% damage to anything, and another was a new skill.
Nate has an idea of what the new skill seems like. 'If I'm correct, this must be the effect of that explosive spite,' Nate thought.
'I don't think this is something I will want to use while others are beside me,' Nate thought.
Finally, it was time for him to look into his final reward.
'Skill mart...you better have something good for me,' Nate smiled.
