Peter would never forget the face of the man that took Nate. Although he mainly referred to him as a man in white rob, his face has been deeply saved in this mind because he has sworn that if anything was to happen to Nate, he will hunt the man down and kill him.
However, so far, he is yet to see Nate but this same man was sitting right in front of him fine. Peter rushed forward and plunge his body at the man. Peter has transformed his hand into a claw and swung it at Leo in an attempt to finish Leo off.
Meanwhile, Leo still sat on the sit, even with the threat of Peter killing him, he didn't do anything. Not like he couldn't do anything, rather he decided not to do anything to allow the claw to hit him.
However, both Peter and his claw passed through him without leaving a scratch behind. "Have you forgotten already that I'm untouchable?" Leo said in a mockery tone while twisting the chair around to face Peter.
"Where is my brother !" Peter already know his hit at this moment won't do anything to the man asked him angrily. He was still ready to fight since his two hands are still in the red ghoul form.
"You should have asked earlier and politely," Leo said making Peter roar at him.
"Where is my brother!!" Peter asked charging in ageing. Rather than plunging his body forward, Peter slashed his claw once more time but nothing happened to Leo. He now started throwing out his fist simultaneously but all was for nothing. The only damage he was causing though was that the wooden floor of the house has been cut through and if he continues like that, he might successfully damage the foundation of the house which can lead to the collapse of the building.
"Fine anyways, I will tell you where your brother is but first can you stop damaging my house?" Leo said to Peter who stopped hitting the ground and was now waiting for Leo's answer.
"He has gone back, earlier this evening," Leo said to Peter.
"Are you playing with me?" Peter raised his hand to continue hitting Leo which was useless though but he was damaging the building.
"Check the horde map for his location," Leo instructed.
Hearing this, first was that Peter was surprised to know Leo knows about the system, but he didn't bother much about it since Nate wasn't hiding the system in the first place. Peter decided to follow Leo's instruction and when he looked into the horde map, he noticed that Nate dot was no longer in this area but rather was around the area of his territory that was far from where he is.
"But how did he get back that fast, does he has a teleportal or something ?" Peter wondered out loud.
"He indeed has one," Leo confessed. Peter glanced at Leo. "Take me there," Peter demanded.
Soon, out of nowhere, a bright white light showed in the forest wood and by the time it disappeared, Peter and Leo appeared. Leo started to lead Peter towards the direction of a particular tree.
However, right before they could reach the tree, a gigantic figure covered in a black cloak appeared in front of them. Peter came ready to fight but when looking closely, he noticed that the gigantic zombie looks familiar.
"Isn't that Scarlett?" Peter asked Leo still observing the Titan's movement. This has brought a lot of questions to him and that is what Scarlett was doing out in a cold land alone.
"As you might have known, Nate is the one that left him here, as for what reason, I don't know but after seeing Scarlett's reaction, I think Nate left him for the sake of preventing intruders in the territory," Leo explained.
Peter seems to understand why Scarlett was doing outside, he was simply acting as a guard in this territory and the reason why they are not being attacked already might be because Peter was already a member of the horde but there is also Leo who Peter could tell was not a zombie and could not even feel the horde connect with him yet his not being attacked.
'Maybe because his with me and is not a threat,' Peter thought to himself and continued to follow Leo. The two eventually arrived at the tree house where Nate built the teleportation room.
"Through that room, it will teleport you back to any of Nate's territory around the globe," Leo explained.
Peter didn't know if he should trust Leo or not. Unlike the initiated horde members, Peter has a closer bond with Nate but he doesn't share the telecommunication skill with Nate. Since he used to be a mindless zombie, it is only Nate who can actually transmit information to Peter to carry out.
Too bad when Peter received his sense of reasoning back, Nate never got the time to privilege him to have access to the skill, if not, he would have simply linked up with Nate directly and ask for his information.
Peter decided to take the risk of trusting Leo and face the consequences later. However, before Peter could step into the room, Leo surprisingly called him back.
"You are actually going to leave just like that. I mean, you journeyed from South to North for about three to four weeks and you are planning to leave just like that," Leo said.
Peter know that Leo was right. Peter has journeyed from Panama City to forever winter island. The distance between these two places was just too far, if not because Peter being a zombie and one that is highly agile, it would have been impossible for him to complete the journey not to talk of in a space of three-four weeks.
There are also some barriers that he has met during the journey, most of them were the beasts and zombie fellow mutated zombies that could prey on him.
However, after managing to overcome all this as fast as he can, he ended up missing his target. Most people will run mad because of this because it was simply a waste of energy, effort and time, but Peter was different. He lacks no energy, nor those he lacks time since as an undead creature, he can live close to eternity. In short, Peter wasn't bothered that he missed his target.
"What do you think I should do other than returning," Peter said to Leo.
Leo shook his head and said. "That's not the only option. You can make yourself useful to Nate," Leo said.
Peter became interested and asked for further explanation."An in which way am I going to be useful?" he asked.
Leo make the white light cover both himself and Peter and they soon appeared on top of a cliff while looking out into the distance where they could see some drones and soldiers patrolling around.
"Laying deep inside that base is very useful information that both I and Nate need, but the problem is that both I Nate wasn't able to break the border defence. It will be easier if you manage to breach the border and conquer even if it was a plot of land as a territory, it will make it easier for Nate to expand when he comes back," Leo explained.
Peter couldn't help but chuckle after Leo finished his statement. "If you and Nate weren't able to break through the border, what makes you think I can do that..hmm?" Peter asked.
"I'm only suggesting how you might help Nate out, if you can't do it, then you can freely go back to the treehouse and use the teleportal to return to Nate," Leo said but as he looked at Peter's spot, Peter was no longer there.
Peter was currently running through the woods while heading in the direction of the border. Soon though, he came face to face with one of the soldiers patrolling the border.
