After killing the centipede beast, Nate was rewarded by the system with a golden medal. At that moment, he didn't waste time using the medal in exchange for two skills and they are "Privilege and Territory".
Nate has gone through the two skill descriptions but was not able to finish that of the territory since he was interrupted by the system warning. However, at a later time, he was able to read it all and they are things that could be done with the territory skill and one of them is what he was currently doing.

Pledging to a territory is something Nate found out was possible to do, by doing so, in a way, they are part of his horde but not fully, he can also use the privilege skill on them and that was the main intention of asking for the base.
Soon, the arrangement was made and Nate went ahead to explain what he was trying to do and what they might see after he was done doing it.
With everyone that was in the base lined up and counted, the total number of the base population was over five thousand people with only a thousand being warriors, the rest were just normal people that were living in the base with next to no fighting experience to help out.
'This will be hard and many might even die but at least it should be able to help us defend the base, ' Nate thought as he pull out his sabre and walked up to Lily since she was the leader of the base, he was meant to start with her.
Making a small cut on her hand, Nate placed his hand on the spot and told her to repeat a few words after him.
"I pledge my spirit to be loyal and fight bravely to protect this base and the people in it," Nate said and she was repeating after him.
With this, he was walking through all the people in the base and was repeating the same thing to every one of them. As he was doing this, those that have already gone through the pledging process could not see any special change in their body except for the fact that they were more meaningful to fight for their base.
Soon, Nate was done with the pledging process, of course, he didn't do anything to the children, they won't be joining the fight after all since it would all be a drawback.
However, after the pledge was through, there was one clear thing, and that was the fact that everyone was willing to fight both old and young, superhuman or not, they were all willing to fight.
Of course, this was because of the pledge they just made. The pledge was something similar to the initiator skill, the only difference is that Nate can't force someone to pledge to his territory, they will do that willingly and they can decide to break it at any moment.
Regardless, Nate was careful when using this, the atomic mark skill can also work on the pledge but that could only be used when someone is going against what he or she pledged for.
For example, if one pledged to fight for the base but when it was the time of the battle, he or she started fighting against the base, only at that moment will the atomic mark skill be effective. With all this set, it was time for Nate to start to privilege his skills to his horde.

It was understandable since he would also have the same facial expression if something suddenly pop out in his interface.
Of course, Nate has to explain what those things were and he has cooked up a perfect lie to tell.

Even after Nate finished explaining, the others were not really getting it but were still looking at it. Nate then went further to explain how to control it with one thought and so and even explained what those skills could do.

With everyone going through the system, Nate starts looking through the skills he privileged to others.
He has selected the telecommunication skill, soul weapon skill, inventory skill, system interface and then Lynn's power for the pledged ones while for his initiated horde members where, soul weapon, system interface, Lynn's power, Map and then territory conquering.
There is a reason why Nate did privilege his horde with the same skill as the pledged ones. One is because most of the skills the pledged ones have has initially been a privilege to his horde way before he got the privilege skill and some of those skills are Telecommunication skills and inventory skills. These are the skills that his horde already have access to before he got the privilege skill.
The reason a add the soul weapon skill was because those with zero experience in fighting, with the help of the soul weapon, should be able to do well in the fight.
Of course, the System interface was needed to utilize all these skills, since he does not have time to start teaching them how to operate it manually.
Lynn's power is very important in this fight since with her help, many of their allays may not lose their lives.
Coming to the side of his horde, the only thing new was the territory conquering.
This is a skill that he can attach to his horde both zombie horde and initiated horde. It will allow them to conquer more territory for him even when he was not currently present with them.
With this skill, he can just send off one of his horde members to conquer territory for him.
