A humanoid bird-like animal had just perched on top of Batt, pinning him down on the floor, its long fingernails were stabbed into his flesh as blood was gushing out.
At this point, it almost seems like it was a helpful and hopeless moment for Batt since he can't even move a finger not to talk of an inch off the ground. Regardless, this might be the case for other people but not for Batt.
After accepting to wear the ring, he was taken away by Green who suddenly appeared beside Kai, he demanded Kai hand over someone from his base under his command, and though Kai had no idea what Green was planning, he still gave Batt out since he was the closest on to him...
Batt was taking into the dark space, not just the dark space, his lab where he injected a greyish liquid into Batt and four other people's bodies, after this he took off their rings while sending them out to the war.
The liquid he injected into them was not just any ordinary liquid, it was one of the results of the experiment he carried out on Chris, of course, the liquid was mixed with their drops of blood. If one was to use the liquid, they will be able to utilize Chris's power for a certain amount of time and will still own the matrix even without wearing a ring and this war was their first-time use of it.
Right now that he was pinned down on the floor in a hopeless manner, Batt was able to utilize the power as he suddenly burst out from the ground, throwing the humanoid bird up.
The bird was still trying to stabilize itself when he was grabbed by the leg and was flogged on the form in too many angels before he was let go.
Gathering its wings to fly off, Batt grabbed it on its beak mouth and throw him on the floor before raising its leg and stapling it on its head.

Batts conditions might have changed so quickly, but what about the others, standing on top of a building not so far was Skinny with three other men dressed in a similar uniform to him. They were the other four that were injected with Chris's power, the other three were randomly selected by Mia after a fighting practice was made and they are the top three winners, because of this they were selected.
However, right now, the four are working together to face off one particular opponent that just appeared. It was a man among those that had fallen from the sky and his body was taking the form of a rhinoceros, the man charged at them while throwing out his fist.
This hit was heading towards Leak who was standing beside Skinny. He ran towards the fist to counterattack by throwing out its fist to clash heads-on with the rhino's fist.
Band!!!
The leak was sent flying off the building as he fall. However, midway while falling, a silhouette appeared, it happened so fast that Leak wasn't able to react in time as the silhouette's body become visible, looking at it, it was a big black serpent the size of two anacondas combined.
The snake wrapped himself around leak while squeezing him tight, however, being among the possessed means he felt no pain. Seeing that it was not working, the snake opened its jaw to bite off Leak's neck but a punch on that spot throw the snake's head to the side slightly, it was painful and strong that the snake unwrapped Leak throwing him up to the building again.
Meanwhile, the rhino never stopped striking Skinny, however, Skinny was already skilled in pivoting and was able to dodge all the strikes from the rhino, at the same time, he was swinging his sword at the rhino making a few cuts here and there.
The sword in his hand was not ordinary, it was not mixed with the matrix blood but it was made from meteorites stones and has a special ability to blast out a stream of energy when coming in contact with something except the wielder, coincidentally, it was the same as Jim's sword.
When it comes to a strike that is too obvious that he can not dodge in time, he will use the sword to block it and then send off the blast which will make huge damage to the body of the rhino. So far, the rhino was talking too much strike that even his strong skin can not protect it anymore and was starting to bleed.
Meanwhile, the other two were standing by the side as Skinny was taking on the rhino. But more intruders started to appear.
A long tentacle wrapped one of them by the shoulder while pulling him into its mouth, it happened quite fast that he wasn't able to react as he die, snapping out from it, the other looked back and could see a monkey with two long tails, but that was not all, besides the monkey is a creature that was covered in brown fur, the creature was standing on four legs with an outline of a dog. One might mistake the creature for a dead bush.
The monkey swung its tail at the last man sending him to go and crash with Skinny. Meanwhile, the rhino seems to have stopped also as his body started to take a human form, it was turned back to its human form.
"What are you doing, they are outnumbered, get those asses up," the monkey said as he approaches the man that had turned into a rhinoceros.
Just then, Leak landed on the building, not far from Skinny, but not long also the snake appeared out of nowhere as he locked its gaze on Leak.
The air became tense as they looked into each other's eyes. "Give it up men, we outnumber you guys, and by the way, there is still someone like us that is yet to come here and by the time he gets here, things won't be the same again," although he was tired on seeing the rest of his men teaming up, the man that altered into a rhinoceros said as he stood up.
"hahaha... What makes you think he will come here by the way, we also have someone out there that probably by now is whipping his ass just like I did yours," Skinny mocked.
Hearing this, the rhino man wanted to strike again, but, it was then a shadow was cast over them as they all looked up.
"We share know who is outnumbered," Batt shouted as he jumped down from the humanoid bird's back.
