At this point, it was becoming a headache for Nate, at least, he now knows it was not easy to be a leader, especially in a case where the leader is a kid barely in his middle teens and while the people that are being led are a bunch of adults. It might seem weird from a certain point of view, however, only the people that are being led know what kind of person their leader was.
He kept surprising them with new things, new tricks that he keep on creating, even the zombies in their midst had tried to find out whether they could also pull those tricks but to no avail. After some time of trying, they all gave up on the idea, rather, they all focused on listening to the person that can do all this, someone that can raise the dead into his slave, someone that can control other mindless beings, someone that can make an item disappear from his hand and many more, regardless of the number of tricks he could pull what matters most was that it is being done all by one person.
Honestly, Nate himself could not explain why he was a little bit different from other zombies, he never thought about it, to begin with. All he knows is that he was playing a mysterious game that he bought with his own money. Even the game programmer's name was not mentioned, all he knows is that after wearing his VR helmet as usual and entering his gaming platform, he found himself in the world he is currently in since he started the game he never bothered to check out the outside world.
Regardless of how real the game looked he still did not suspect this whole thing to be real, instead, he thought the programmer must be someone secretive, the programmer might have had a device or software that can make a graphical interface to be real.
Nevertheless, all that Nate owns for his horde members is to explain each skill that gets them involved as for ones that only he the horde leader has, he doesn't need to explain any dime of explanation.
Now he was through with the power shearing, he still has three people eager to test out their new power, though, one wasn't showing it on her face but Nate know fully that the former was also eager as the others.
Now that they were inside the training room there is nowhere else they could go, all that has to be done is a little adjustment in the room. All the training materials were shifted with the help of Mark and soon a clear space was made for the upcoming fight. Meanwhile, Dike was with Lyon as the former thought him a few things he know about altering. It wasn't necessary though because Dike will not be able to grab something useful enough that will help him out in the fight, it was a friendly fight after all and the winner doesn't matter, instead what matters most was how much of your power you can showcase.
Meanwhile, Dike was busy with Lyon, Twain had nobody to explain how his power works, at least, that was what he thought before Nate walked up to him and started lecturing him on how to use his power. After the lecture was over, Twain was surprised at the amount of knowledge Nate has on the power he gave to him. Of course, he wanted to question him but decided against that.
Soon, it was Dike and Twain standing before each other, the two were waiting for Nate to give the starting gesture.
"Start!" Nate yelled.
Upon hearing his voice, Dike's body started to alter by himself, the octopus legs started to grow out from his back. It was four in number, though the octopus has eight legs, however, Dike has four, though one might think it not complete that is if his natural hand and legs were not counted in.
The tentacles were thrust forward to Twain, meanwhile, Twain step back a little before his ear started to capture every single movement in the air. His power was called air sensed by the system and that was for a reason. Twain could not just manipulate the breeze magically, he has to form some kind of link with the air surrounding him, and with those air around him, he will be able to do something close to manipulation but at the same time different.
One of the things he had learned from Nate taught was that at the ring he can form a link with the air, anything within the range is at his domain and the long elastic legs had just gotten into that range. Twain was able to slow it down a bit due to the great force of air roaming around the ring, though this air was gathering around him yet it wasn't getting out to the others.
The tentacles were nudged to the side by the breeze, however, this happened, Dike had already kicked off the ground aggressively and went directly to Twain.
Twain never expected this so he was kicked in the chest and was sent flying and clashed with the walls.
"Yeah...! That's my boy," Lyon cheer out. What Dike just did wasn't something he would have done on a normal day, it was one of the things Lyon instructed him to do, be aggressive and never allow his opponent to strike back.
Meanwhile, Twain was still getting up after being sent flying over the wall. He does not have any visible injury but internally, his bones had shifted a bit. This type of injury was not fatal and could even heal up without any flesh required, however, Dike was not done yet.
Just like Lyon instructed him, he is not going to give Twain the chance to get up, the next wink, the tentacle was already wrapping around Twain as he was lifted and slammed down on the floor, this was done multiple times not giving him the chance to strike.
Regardless of his condition, Nate never stepped into the fight. Meanwhile, Twain was lifted and slammed on the floor at the same time, there was a strong wave of breeze that was being sent off from his body whenever he was slammed into the ground. As Dike was stuck repeating a single act which is slamming Twain into the ground, his movements were getting sluggish, the tentacles were slowing down.
'What is happening,' Dike thought and when he was still thinking so, a strong wave stronger than the previous one hit him taking him down to the floor in one swap. Twain was later freed and when he was trying to get up, a shadow was cast over him. "You seem so reluctant to stop attacking," muttered Twain as he also kick off the ground and went further to clash with Dike.
Instead of throwing out his four legs like before, Dike used his fist and pounce on Twain. Meanwhile, Twain thrust his fist and while doing so, a tornado-like aura was condensed on his fist as they clash with Dike.
Boom!
This time, Dike was blown out not just backward, but out from the ship breaking through the solid wall.
