Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 130 - Jim's reports.

Chapter 130 - Jim's reports.

The validity of the matrix is still confusing to Nate that's why the second time he was hearing of such a group and yet left in a daze for a while.

Jim had found his way back to the mothership and one of the first things he did was to explain what he saw and encountered while still on the mission. Of course, he did not mention the sword yet, he did not even explain how the fight went on, he only stated the part he was attacked by the strange men and which he found out were controlled by the matrix.

After Jim was done with his explanation, Nate was left with so many questions and the fact that he could not find the right answers to them was getting him angry, however, no matter what, he still have to swallow those fits of anger and think of what to do next.

This will count it the second time Nate has had about the matrix, one was from an attack back in Halloween and now, though he wasn't present there, Jim will never lie to him, at least now that he was now under Nate's initial control.

The most annoying and disturbing part of it was that he had no idea nor have he met with the matrix themselves, so it always left him with one question. 'Who are they and what do they want from me?' Nate muttered to himself.

'Are they also some type of zombie hunter groups or something of that sort?' For a slight moment, Nate thought the matrix was a group linked with the zombie hunter association, however, he did not need to worry much about that since he has someone from that organisation in his custody, and could easily extract the answers from him.

However, this still left him bothered because one is that the system never classified the matrix as zombie hunters, that's why he felt like the matrix being an organisation as the zombie hunters might not be the case at all.

Regardless if the matrix was an organisation that exists on its own away from the zombie hunters, there are that were bothering Nate at the thought of this. One is why are they after him and what has he done to such a group for them to be after him. There is still another suspect Nate has and that was his father.

It was not a coincidence that the matrix attack them back in Halloween and the thing is that they were moving along with the men his father sent after him. And it's not a coincidence that the matrix is based in Panama City. If his father is still in Panama City and yet the matrix is also based in the same place, the likelihood of his father working with the matrix is high.

Of course, Jim reported that Nate's hours were surrounded by men hiding in shadows and from what know, those men were being controlled by the matrix, this also means that someone assigned them to that position and the most likely to be his father, Chris.

After thinking about all this, if not because Nate now a zombie, he could have been having a serious headache due to the too much thought he has been thinking for some hours.

He was sitting in the sitting room with only Jim standing before him, the others were busy with their training while he just sit to hear Jim's report.

Honestly, after thinking about it for some hours now, Nate could not find the perfect nor could he put his fingers at who exactly was pursuing him. There are just too few people he had offended, one is his father, the zombie hunters, that is all he could think of, never in his mind did he think about Kai and Mia.

Not having any other thing to think of, Nate just dismissed Jim as he sighed and his mind was drawn back to something he is yet to do.

One is to fully interrogate the zombie hunter man before deciding whether or not he should kill him. Another is the system rewards that he has received and is yet to use them.

Nate decided to start with the system rewards. This is because in case one of the things he receives from the system happened to be tested, he could just use it on the hunter zombie soon after he was done with the interrogation.

[You have two medals unused, one silver medal and one bronze medal]

The bronze medal was something Nate got after initiating [268] zombies into his horde, the system granted him a skill and has also received a bronze medal from the system after death controlling a superhuman. He also got a silver medal after the mothership was saved by Peter and the other zombies that were present at that moment...

He had also received a huge amount of exp that took him to the next level of the game instantly.

Without much thought about it, Nate decided to start with the skill he received after adding hundreds of zombies to his horde.

[Inventory Swap]

[This allows the host to swap any item stored in his inventory or his horde inventory]

Although the skill does not focus on the fighting aspect, Nate was pleased with what he has. One thing he noted was that the skill was along with the inventory skill. With this skill, he could swap any item with his horde members. For instance, if one of his horde members happens to find an item that is useful for Nate, it could be shifted to him faster without needing to meet him in person and there seems to be no limited distance the skill could work on since it was not mentioned.

Because of the attribute of skill, Nate loves the skill just after reading the description.

With that being said, Nate moved into the next segment of what he was doing.

[Bronze Medal has been used]

[One skill has been great]

[Skill, horde spoils]

[When a horde member with a supernatural ability is killed, this skill will gather his or her ability and skills into a stone-like crystal. With this stone or crystal, the host can assign the power to another horde member]

Upon seeing this skill and reading it at the same time, Nate was grateful that he is yet to kill the zombie hunter guy, at least he can carry out the test on him.

Nate doesn't know how the system is planning to do such a thing, but one thing was for sure, this process could be done on the horde members.

Because he was so eager to know how the skill worked, Nate quickly moved to the next item.

[Silver Medal has been used]
