Once again, Nate's status unfolded before him with numerous contents that were new to him such as the elite level eleven that was displayed in the section of that.
Nate understood what that means and did not need any extra explanation from the system, so he moved over to the title name that had been promised by the system to him.
'What was I expecting, I was the one that chose the horde-building zombie because of Peter,' Nate thought as he signed.
Upon seeing Nate sigh out of nowhere, Lyon knew that Nate was up to his usual space-out time when the latter something talks to himself.
As for how he know, Lyon had been close to Nate lately before the latter suddenly fall unconscious, and during that period that he and Nate had been practicing secretly away from Jim's notice, Lyon had learned and discovered many things about Nate, both the one the latter told him and those he was not told and Lyon had noticed that Nate had someone or something that he usually speaks to inside him that he didn't know.
However, Lyon did not dig deep into the matter, as he remains safe in Nate's arms, he did not care about whatever secret Nate was hiding, but this did not stop him to be curious about what Nate was hiding though.
"I think I will be going out to catch some fresh air," Lyon said as he headed for the exit door of the workshop.
Not finding anything much to do also, Jim left to his work. Soon, Nate was left alone with his system massage.
"Ten thousand exp to level up?"
"Maybe I should just put that aside for now" Nate muttered as he heads back to the office room.
Ten thousand exp for the next level-up is something big and Nate knows that he won't be getting that amount of points just by facing off against some group of zombies or even a beast at the level of the blood dog or something of that sort.
This is one of the problems with leveling up, once you level up, the requirements for the next level up will increase and that is how it will continue till you eventually reach the final level limit.
Next on the list was his status which had increased by two each. Putting that aside, Nate the particular notification he was in haste to look into was finally in front of him.
[New skill]
[Skill name= Death control]
[Death control: This is a skill similar to the horde-building skill "infect" and "initiator". It grants the host the ability to create a unique horde. It raises any dead creature to as far as its head is still intact to its body. This type of horde member does not have levels, that follow the host's lead, for instance, if the host dies, his normal horde members will be independent of their lives, but to this type of horde, they die with the host and get stronger with the host.]
[Two things you need to note about this skill: 1: You can't raise a dead lesser Wight. 2: Any creature that was raised by the host will lose 30% of its original strength]
Honestly, Nate has to read the description of the skill multiple times to be sure that the notification was truly meant for him.
'Just who did I do good in my past life for me to get such a blessing as a reward?!' Nate screamed in his mind trying hard to suppress the urge of shouting out in excitement.
He could vividly remember back then when Jim had offered to help them, he wanted to force initiate an evolved rhinoceros back then, but the system informed him that he could not do so because the rhino was already dead, it was not stated though, but Nate wished he could get a skill that will grant him the ability to raise the dead to obey his will, all he did not know was that just two weeks further that his wish would be granted.
'Truly Nate, if you ever lose this game, then you deserve to be stripped of the title of the " VR Game Lord", Nate thought to himself as his mind also drift off to what he could do with the new skill.
However, he still had another interesting list not unfolded.
[System function change]
[This is another once-in-a-lifetime chance for the host to choose between the two on how he would be getting his rewards]
[Direct = Rewards sent this way always comes direct to the host]
[Medal= This type of reward is sent in the medals, the amount and type of rewards will depend on the ranking of the medal. The ranking will show once the host chose this]
'Just like always, the system knows how to get someone curious, just why won't you be straightforward like you are on the other !' Nate yelled at the system in his mind. The system was playing games with Nate and the latter know that. The game is a game of curiosity.
The system is trying to get Nate curious about a particular option so that he would choose it, but Nate knows that if the system was trying to get him to choose a particular option then this option must be something good that would benefit both him and the system if it has any extra intention for choosing the option.
Regardless of this, Nate knows he has to decide on his own and not follow the system, but the problem is that the trick of the system was working as Nate was finding it hard not to choose the second option.
"Fine, whatever... This good for me too" Nate said as he made up his mind.
[Medal had been chosen]
[The system will be going off for one hour].
"Just like I expected... This is another form of excuse you use for going to sleep, I've never seen a lazy machine before!" Nate tried venting his anger on the system but the computer being had gone off to do his task.
'Now what will I do to pass out time'
'Maybe trying the death control skill will be worth it ' just when Nate was still thinking about this.
Bang!
A bang came from outside and he frowned his face. " what is again" he stand up and started heading outside.
Meanwhile, outside, Lyon was holding onto a small little boy that was at the age of eleven the boy also struggle to break free from his grip but Lyon's grip was not to be underestimated.
"Hey let me go!" the body yelled at Lyon.
"Not until you meet my boss" Lyon replied but just then, Nate appeared and looked at Lyon with a questioning look.
"I thought you are not that type of person?" Nate said while looking at Lyon.
"Yeah, I'm not but this one is different," Lyon said as he stepped forward to Nate. "Have a look" Lyon tossed the small boy towards Nate.
"Ahahahaa!" The boy screamed as he travels through the air.
It was throwing but Nate had gone to meet it himself. Getting closer to the small boy, Nate's face changed dramatically.
"You are a zombie!"
