Chereads / My Zombie Game / Chapter 37 - 2D stick.

Chapter 37 - 2D stick.

Nate had taken his training to another level that he did not only train on his physical fitness but also his enhanced six senses.

The list of six senses that he had been working on were sight, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling and his brain.

Naturally, Nate had excluded his number six as part of his body that might have evolved with him.

Zombies are already low-minded beings, and instead of considering that his number six might have evolved, he thinks that it has decreased instead.

As for the sense of feeling, it was something that Nate had erased from his dictionary. It's been a long time since he had thought of a feeling or even feeling anything both mentally and physically.

To explain further, the sense of feeling in the physical aspects, was like an ant clawing on Nate's body, the latter would not be able to feel anything, till at least he saw it, and then his brain could now tell him what was on his body.

As for the mental aspect though. It's something that Nate had long forgotten since when last he had felt pity, love, or any sign of emotion except anger and irritation which is normal for a zombie.

Right now, one of his six senses had just started to kick in, as it starts to recall a particular event.

"No doubt, it smells like the 'Blood dog', but how can one be here at this moment" At this moment, Nate was kind of annoyed.

The worst part is that he had lost all his reasonable weapons except the baseball bat, which he had turned into a club with spikes.

Having to lust the knives on fighting Lyon, Nate was now left with nothing at this moment, even Peter's ax was nowhere to be found after he had given a deadly blow to Lyon back then.

"You might be looking for this" Lyon brought out the ax from his back. As for where he got it from, Nate did not know, but one thing is for sure, he was glad to see a weapon of that sort.

Well, maybe it can be said that he rejoiced too early, as when he grabbed the ax, he found out that the edge was already bent as they were no longer shaped enough to even cut through a rope.

"Sorry, I had to do this back then to prevent him from killing me," Lyon said, scratching his head in embarrassment.

"It seems like will have to figure out how to deal with this me"

"Stay back here with Peter, I'm going out alone" Just after saying that, a hologram of a 2D stick came out from nowhere as it also headed for the door.

"This one must be strong for you to be able to summon yourself" lamented Nate.

Standing outside the house sniffing on the ground was not the Blood dog that Nate had thought it was.

Instead, it was a dog but its fur was not red but brown.

The fur is so bushy that at the top of its head, the fur covers its eye leaving only the loop nose exposed.

It sniffed on the ground like it was trying to track something down.

Not long, it raised its head in a particular direction.

It did not attack out rightly as it slowly approached the house.

Soon, the dog was at the door of the building as it bent its nose towards the door.

Bang!!!

A few fragments of wood with the dog were sent flying backwards into the road,  as the dog rolled on the ground a few times before coming to a stop.

"Wait...did I hit something?" Nate stepped out of the house and looked at the creature on the road.

Nate at first had thought of what to use in fighting the blood dog or to say what he thought was the blood dog.

That was till he remembered a bag in which he had stuffed some home mechanical equipment, and a pickaxe and a hammer were one of them.

It was one of the axes that Peter had been using, now that it was lust, he had to choose another weapon from the selection of equipment.

Just like before, Peter had taken the pickaxe. The pickaxe had two edges pointed out.

And Nate had no other option but to choose the hammer.

'That is not the blood dog, but it smells like it

Soon also, the dog guts up on his four paws as it barks at Nate.

'I did hit him, was the stick prediction true?'

After picking up the hammer, Nate was not in a rush to make a move yet, because for some reason he could hardly hear the dog's footsteps and it only gawked at the door with saliva coming out from its mouth.

It was at this point that Nate noticed an active movement from the stick man as an illusion of a hammer appeared on his hand and he swung it at the door.

Nate was getting what the stick was trying to say as he swung the hammer on the door, sending both the door and some particles of the door flying.

"Now it gets what this skill is all about, a tip"

"Maybe you should have given it a fit name for it"

The dog still lashed at Nate as it started running towards him while jumping on him.

Just like before, the stick also swings the hammer at a particular spot on the dog's body.

It was at the upper jaw of the dog, just like it was demonstrated in the hologram.

But this time, Nate decided not to swing at the same spot, as he was seeking to know what would happen if he did not do the same as the stick.

Band!

Once again, the dog was hit to the side with the help of the hammer, but it was quick to get up from the ground and went for Nate again.

[Host had just missed a chance to deliver a fatal blow on the beast]

[Next time, the host is advised to trust his instants to avoid being trapped in a bad situation]

The system message was there for him to read, but he had no time to do so because the dog was at it again, as it split towards Nate. Even at that, Nate was still able to notice one point and that is.

'Fetal blow? That means it would have been enough to kill the dog with one strike. Think of this Nate tightened his fist on the hammer handle and waited for the dog to come.

The dog this time went for Nate's leg, but the stick had already struck downwards before the dog could even lean forward.

Seeing this, Nate swung the hammer at the dog's head.

Bang!

Splash of blood as the particles of the dog's brain were scattered all over the floor.

Just like that, Nate must kill the dog.

'Maybe this attack is not bad for me to have it, for them to use, who knows what type of situation this could bust me out from '

Of course, Nate did not fail to notice that foresight attribute of the skill.

[First time using the Holographic stick fighter to kill a beast]

[Your reward is that you have been given a chance to rename this particular skill]

[100 exp has been granted to the host for killing the blind dog]

'This is something to be happy about for something that weak' just when Nate thought it was over.
