XAVIER'S POV:
My mind was in a total disarray. The wedding was a month ago and everything had been finalized. Quinn was officially my wife.
I watched her sleep as I worked on the desk in my room. She refused to get her own room and I felt she had a motive behind that but I could always use it to my advantage.
Her hair was sprawled around the pillow and she had a calm look on her face as she slept. One of the main features I loved about her was her hair. It was so golden in colour and it suited her. I saw why her dad called her Sunshine. She fits it perfectly.
She looks as bright as the sun but burns evens as much as it does.
I had called her my firestorm that day and was pleased with her reaction. She liked it obviously and I was going to keep calling her that.
In the meantime, I had some men find out everything there was to know about Aiden Adams. The ex that made her cry. I didn't like it one bit that she cried.
He was 19 and a stupid jerk in person. I still didn't see why Quinn even stayed with him for as long as a year. He didn't deserve her. Yet again, Do I?
I wanted to make his life miserable with all the connections I had but, I didn't want to do anything that would make Quinn hate me even more. I was attracted to her. There was no point denying it.
I had wanted to hurt her emotionally by doing several horrible things but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
Quinn was changing me in so many ways that scares the shit out of me. She had confronted me earlier about how my security guards had chased down Faith and she happened to get there. She rambled and lectured me about Feminism that it made me wonder about a lot of things really.
I then told Faith that I cleared off all her debts and henceforth she needed to work harder instead. Normally, I don't greet or communicate with my employees but seeing Quinn do it every time she came, compelled me to also do same.
It's amazing how one little person can change the world. It's scary but Change is constant, She would say.
