"Tutan did tell me to expect the needle's final kicks," Gustav thought.
While the campers were enjoying their breakfast, and went far enough to skin and cook up that bear, he had sat aside and pondered things over.
The recent encounter was beyond confusing. Apart from that, it diminished his appetite as well, and he only ate one kilo of meat!
"Was I going nuts again? That can't be right, I felt very much conscious." He further debated, quietly.
He eventually recalled the last time when his senses were overwhelmed with rainbows, illusions, delusions, screams and duck people. In comparison to that particular experience when he got the second needle's substances sprayed in his bloodstream, things didn't feel nearly as insane now.
"Can't be right. Maybe I can understand animals now? It makes sense… It should." Gustav figured.
