Chapter 57 - Hatched snakes

Success seemed unlikely so far, but nothing about this adventure was common or possible to begin with, so any observation wasn't worth two pieces of grain. Everything was unpredictable, including the recent success, and the team just had to accept it as such.

They dragged and punched the pipe-like iron through every cave and tunnel, all the way up to the cooler areas near the frozen caverns. The team caught up to Arila and Gustav as well, while the latter eventually woke up from his heat-encouraged coma.

Once they could finally relax, a few other questions popped out. Gustav asked, "I wonder if we got enough whistling iron… Imagine if Tutan sent us back here."

"We're fine," A flying demon chipped in, and then added. "This thing is bigger than the beacon, of course it's enough. Plus, aliens know to spend precious material wisely."
