The particle accelerator wasn't so… accelerating to look at. Gustav even felt disappointed at first, but progress was progress even if it didn't seem like a milestone.
"Looks like we found more than enough… can't imagine what they could use these tiny things for, though." He muttered.
It took them ten minutes to gather up a pile of particle accelerators, about fifteen of them. Although it was difficult to find the first one, once their size and shape was acknowledged, the rest of the search was a piece of cake!
Gustav got what he came here for, but he still couldn't piece a certain puzzle together; He didn't know how these little, ring-like items could accelerate anything!
He guessed that they were supposed to amplify the demon crystal's light, but didn't understand how they would do that. Even with all of them piled up on his hand, he still didn't consider them as anything powerful.
