Eliminating a personality is difficult, almost impossible. It can only be assimilated gradually by unifying it within. As to when this will happen, it's hard to say. If Zuo Xiaotang's strength remains stagnant, it'll be easier to handle. But it's been growing... he's just experienced a Soul Awakening. He must learn to control it or risk going berserk, becoming a chaotic, grotesque shadow of himself, ...a fiendish spider-man.
He wasn't wrong about Anita. She is truly remarkable. The issue is that the antidote is in the enemy's hands. That's tricky.
