"So you're bent on staying here, no hopes for returning?" Felix inquired.
"I never said so," Smith slashed.
"So, then why exactly do you-?"
"I need answers," Smith glanced at Felix" what was it like when you held the key" Smith added.
Both men had settled down on the ground resting their backs against the tree trunks, their eyes darting around the surrounding.
"It's a great responsibility I would say, actually going back to your retch! I know how much you hate these people. I do too but-" Felix's Words were cut short.
" Hit the nail on its head, if you're trying to get me out of this hatred of a thing, then you made a mistake... Cause once I made up my mind there's no turning back" Smith smirked, his voice cold and dark.
"You gain nothing from revenge"
"Not when your happiness is being smashed, not once or twice. I dare to say it's my first time getting the experience to be loved and now-...." He sniffed.
"Humans are soul enemies to the Kariba's after the great war, you see not only humans inhabit The earth, but other races. They were bound together by a seal and the bearer was the Kariba. However, peace didn't last long, the seal was broken and all races parted ways. The Karibas created their own world, using one piece of the broken seal, the seal was shattered into three parts. Two with you and the last is nowhere to be found..." Felix illustrated in light tones.
"Do you ever got a chance of leaving here" Smith furrowed his brow.
"More than but I can't leave. There's a reason for that-" Felix interludes.
"Not much was written in human history, all these happened years back." Felix smirked before proceeding "The seal wasn't just a bond but also access to the lower realm where only Abomination exists, you are only keen on revenge not bothering to note an inquiry of why they're killing your teammates..." The old man Added.
On hearing the word 'Making an inquiry ' Smith's expression spun grave, "They killed you and yet you still support them?"
" 'He' not 'they', Hanhi their leader still clings to the past, all that has happened still feels like yesterday. The Kariba are like a tree that is being corrupted by the presence of weeds. They do as told.." Felix explained.
" I guess the ties between the Kariba and humans are much deeper..." Smith said in a low tone, he was not smit by the words of Felix, he just wanted to get the whole information of who he was actually up against.
"You have a responsibility ahead of you, you've never wondered why there was no trap in the tomb where you find the Treasure-" the blonde-haired man's eyes brightened at this, he had wondered why, but had shoved that thought away.
"Why?"
"You were proven worthy, so all traps were terminated by your presence. You were birth strong blood And a new life awaits" Felix said.
"Well am not ready for that, how did you know all this?"
"The key provides deep knowledge, you might never have dreamt of, the ones that involve even the creation of all mastery... If I may ask, how did you come to know about the key" Felix furrowed his brow, locking his gaze with the blonde hair man?
"Well, I do not disclose my client information to other people" Smith rolled his eyes, doubting trust.
"Am just a ghost, what's the worst can I do?" Felix huffed.
"Well if a ghost can think, what else are they not capable of doing" Smith jokingly teased.
A frown settles on The old man's face, " Someone sent you, what do you think will happen if the seal fell in the wrong hands... It will unleash chaos on all races, unlocking the lower realm. You being alive is not by luck but destiny, the key power is in you waiting to be accepted. Once you do that, you'll come in lines with the knowledge of old, after all, it saved you twice already." Felix smiled one thing that made the young man confused.
"Am done now boy, the rest is up to you" Felix stood up.
".....?"
" You're the last hope for mankind's survival" with that the old man dissipates into the passing wind.
