"We fight back" There was a hint of urgency in Henry's voice, his expression, and his face tells so much about his bleeding empathy.
"Henry, we can't just rush to a conclusion. We have to think this through" Frank advised as he was not yet willing to believe the new piece of data.
Frank turned to Abby, "So tell me what you think of this new piece of data, you just gave us? Come to think of it, there's no evidence to back the story up"
"And how come your grandma knows a lot about the Kariba's, who exactly is your grandma?" Erica curtly ask, after hearing the questions frank threw at Abby... She felt something is wrong, the whole thing is entirely wrong.
She could feel her guts telling her they've missed something entirely. How were they supposed to figure out what they are missing?
"We should start making plans, I mean this place seems nice but..." Frank's words were interrupted.
"If you're planning to live the rest of your lives here, well am not planning to" Henry sliced bluntly through frank words without warning.
"I think what we need first is, get refreshed then think this whole matter all over. Starting from the beginning" Adam suggested as he got up, and leans against the trunk of a tree.
Henry sighed hard, he must have been overreacting toward the whole situation. thinking over the suggestion of Adam, he had no option but to give in. Perhaps Adam and frank are right, we should get refreshed.
"Alright, you have a point," Henry said " But I won't be the one leading the way" He added. He remembered clearly that the road they took A day back, was the road he urge Michael to pass even when they weren't certain of it.. and that leads to all this they are facing.
'Thinking about Michael, how he had Decline offering help to the young man made his heart harden even more with regrets and guilt.
Adam nodded as he understands The resistance of Henry, The Aged Man must blame himself for leading them into this trap.
Adam walked briskly toward a certain direction, they just watched him leave till they couldn't see him anymore
"Where is he off to?" Erica questioned, As she chew hard on the strawberry.
"We don't know what the future holds for us, we are lucky we made it past the river into this fantasized place, maybe when we rest a bit we can wake up in our homeland once again.." Abby smirk as she is not worried about anything, just seeing a bigger picture ahead of them all.
At the moment she feels like she's radiating sunshine and has a bounce in her step! There was a permanent smile on her face as she try cracking jokes left and right so that she can get a smile out of the people around her.
She has always been an optimistic person who has learned to naturally start seeing silver linings in challenging situations.
However, her jokes were cut off by Henry, as everyone else around scorned her positive opinion. They all knew Where there's a will, there's a way, not relaxing in an unknown place while expecting a miracle to happen.
"I don't think we are in a position to say we are lucky, Abby. Not until we are out of this place. We don't know what this place holds, There's more than Meets the Eye" Henry curtly said.
"We can't wait for anyone to explore our existence, We should make a move first, or do anyone still insist on having some unbeneficial Relaxation, wasting time while you unknowingly wait for some beastly personality that's gonna get you killed with your hearts rip out of your chests?" Frank added blankly as his complexion held no feelings, His dried lips were flaky and red. His layered-length dried hair appears flat and dull. The words he voiced out of his mouth were cranky yet, rational and rasping.
The whole time the team just keep shut as they listened to Doc's frank words mindly without interruption. There was a brief silence after the Man spoke his mind, But the silence didn't last long.
"That was harsh, doc" That was all Abby could say, as she has never expected such words from frank.
"Hey guys, over here" Adam's voice Echoed through from the direction, he walked through earlier.
The team got up and ran in that direction, Passing through a cave they met a great view of beauty..
This is a waterfall galore, A series of thundering waterfalls cut sharp lines into the 1544 m (5066 ft) Mountain, to form what is known as the Weeping Wall. The upper reaches of the wall are almost always covered by rain clouds... What makes the waterfall special though are the distinct shades of blues and greens - from aquamarine to emerald and turquoise - that can be seen in the water as it flows over limestone and chalk rocks. At the center was a blue-greenish-clear crystal lake that is surrounded by a lush green landscape.
The view was so fascinating that got everyone thinking.. 'where the hell are we, exactly?', for a moment they all forget about their worries. A new feeling cladded their minds, dipping in a pool of refreshed water as it occurs to them that they were covered in dirt, looking messy.
The exciting view left awe across their faces, Abby immediately off her clothes except for her pant and bra, not aware of the danger she jump in as the refreshing cold water tames her dry skin. Following in her footstep, the rest of the team did the same, taking off their clothes leaving only their inner wears.
Dipping into the water, they felt refreshed letting out a heavy sigh... Overjoy with laughter and shouts.
"This is the best day of my life, I feel so refreshed and light-headed," Erica exclaims. After dipping in the lake pool she felt extremely good.
"What sort of place is this? Like seriously does such a place still exist? How tableaus" Adam said as he swims lightly in the lake. He dipped down the water meeting with clear precious white stones. He could see how blue the color of the water is below.
Adam Suddenly comes out of the water, exposing his body features. Large broad v-shoulders, and six packs. His wet dripping hair fall over his face, as he strode out of the water to the landscape taking a perfect spot to sit on, while he watch the rest of them who were playing in the water.
A smile crept to his face, it's been a long since he felt this fun activities. Leaving him lightheaded.
After a while, he felt something was wrong as he spotted water giving way at the edge like something is coming, not sure if he was sure he stood up to confirm his doubt.
Something was indeed coming and it was heading in the direction of where the teams were. He was tense, seeing the water gives way to the presence of whatever thing was coming.
"Something's coming..." he mutters to himself before raising his voice to tell the others who seem absent-minded about the situation.
"Get out of the water! Out now!!" he cried out, "Something is coming..." he panicked.
The team at first glance didn't make any moves until they saw the water parting ways toward them. Horrified, they strode in the water as fast as they could, to the landscape.
However, The team got to the landscape except for Emilia who went deeper into the water in the first place, she was still swimming trying to make it to the landscape, the water was crystal blue that you could see through it but the creature that they are seeing below the surface of the water was entirely dark making it difficult for the team to figure out what kind of creature it is.
They waited for Emilia on the landscape while shouting her name to hurry up, upon arriving on the bed of the landscape, she was immediately dragged into the water by this unknown creature, and they were nowhere to be found. the once disturbed water became still again.
"Emilia, Emilia" they called out in anxiety. This incident immediately refreshen their memories of where they exactly are, they are in the lion's den where every beautiful thing has a cavernous side.
Once again they've lost a member... The team sat on the landscape thinking hard, 'for goodness sake what exactly is going on????'
