Footsteps echoed off of the stone walls as the five women made their way into the ruins. Almost immediately the sun, high in the sky outside, was blotted out and hidden from view, leaving the way forward enshrouded by the dark. It took only a moment for Sabrina to use some of her own magic and a globe of golden light lit up above their heads, casting shadows into the halls beyond.
Towards the front, Josie whistled. "Huh, I don't know what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. Lukresh, you said these ruins are from your family, yeah? Since when did they have a taste in architecture like this?"
It seemed like the Archduchess wanted to give some witty retort, but stopped short as she looked around more.
