As Valentina rushed towards where the fight had been taking place, she continued to focus on the local mana fluctuations as well as what her hexes were telling her about Bessie and Dahlia's current condition. The two were still sinking further into the ground, and although the speed was slow, not knowing where they might stop made the Archduchess even more anxious. The one saving grace was that they were both being affected by an active spell effect, and this meant that if the source of the spell died, then those two would be freed as well. As least, that was her hope.
