The remainder of the day went about as one would expect. Lastholme had been a pitstop that nearly everyone benefited from and morale had been restored to an all time high. Soldiers, squires, and servants alike all benefited from the proximity of civilization and, even if most stayed up far too late the previous day, everyone seemed to be revitalised and full of spirit.
As they left the town and returned to the tent city outside of the town, Dahlia made note that Lastholme seemed to be doing quite well as well. Unlike the soldiers who had a bit of respite before their battles began, the merchants, cooks, and entertainers of the town had all been busy and working hard. Yet despite all the fatigue that surely they were feeling after a hard night's work, the townsfolk seemed just as energised. It was clear that the economy was certainly going to flourish after all this and a glint in people's eyes showed that they were well aware of the profit that came from the last night.
