Due to the Baroness' abilities, returning to the castle wasn't so bad. As it turns out, having six wings can be a bit handy when it comes to travelling while carrying heavy loads at decent speeds. A long walk was turned into a three minute journey and Bessie was delivered at the front gate and transferred to the medical ward almost immediately.
Dahlia could only take solace in knowing that the woman's injuries were not all that bad and that the main issue was truly exhaustion. If anything, her mother was more dangerously injured, but as they waited at the gate Sabrina had already started doing some emergency first aid on herself.
Now that she could witness it without being half dead, the girl started to realise just how skilled her mother was when it came to triage and treating her wounds and she couldn't help but ask some questions to pass the time.
