The remainder of the night passed calmly and at some point Valentina had to carry Dahlia to their bed after she fell asleep in the hotspring. By the time the two woke up, it was already late in the morning and quickly approaching noon. Sleeping in wasn't an issue as all the soldiers likely partied too hard last night anyway so everyone had already decided to restart their march in the afternoon. What was an issue though were the glares of others as the two walked into the main hall.
Elites, generals, and random travellers alike all turned to look at the two love birds as they walked in and it was clear that they weren't happy. A shocking number of people had dark circles under their eyes and at first Dahlia was still too sleepy to really understand why. That is before Bessie and Lilli both walked up to tease them.
