As the exploration of the second floor continued, everyone became particularly vigilant as they started to search for any hints on how to complete the altar's formation. Despite working as a team though, the three women ended up splitting into two groups. Dahlia and Bessie with their improved eyesight in the dark ended up taking a faster approach, where they would quickly move from hall to hall and room to room in search of any leads. Meanwhile, Josie remained further behind as she scoured every square inch for information that might have been missed.
Naturally, their differing eyesights had a huge influence on how these groups formed, but the true reason they separated was because Josie was a huge nerd. At first they tried to stick together to reduce potential threats but, after the Marquise got excited and insisted on looking at a particular piece of architecture for the third time in a row, the others decided that it was best to just leave her behind.
