The humanoid jumps away from Kaede when he probably feels that the human he wants to eat has turned into something else.
"Let's close the curtain, shall we?" Kaede put the polearm down and brought his hands into a praying position. "I don't like having a spectator in my game."
Kaede began to intertwine his fingers.
"Portal activate," he said and immediately changed his fingers' position by using both his index fingers and thumbs to touch each other's tip to form a spade shape. "Coming forth."
Kaede changed his fingers' position for the third time by wrapping his right index finger with his left fingers, except his left index finger that remained pointing up while he wrapped his remaining right fingers around his left hand. And become the final position of his finger art.
"Inferno," he whispered enough to be heard by the humanoid.
Suddenly, the mirror-like realm of the humanoid is swallowed by black fire. And instead of crackling sounds of fire, screams of agonies and curses were all the humanoids could hear in every part of the realm he was in.
"Welcome to my Realm, Pest. Shall we begin?" Kaede asks the humanoid while his polearm becomes black as the flame.
The humanoid couldn't say a word because he knew once you are trapped in someone else's realm, going out alive is slim, especially in this kind of realm.
"Ready?" Kaede asked him before disappearing and appearing in front of his enemy. "Boo," he teased him and began attacking using his polearm, which he expertly wielded, performing a fast spear strike to the humanoid like the polearm was an extended part of his body.
The humanoid didn't have much time to dodge the attack because it was so fast, and the heaviness he felt within Kaede's realm prevented him from moving as fast as he could. He could feel the menacing stares of legions of ziels staring at him like they wanted to devour him.
When he miraculously evaded Kaede's one spear attack, he jumped a few meters away from him. The humanoid couldn't believe that the boy standing in front of him, almost in a brick of death, made him sweat so hard that he started to doubt himself if he could kill and eat him.
"What's wrong? Are you tired already?" Kaede teased him again, smirking.
"Damn it," the humanoid cursed to himself. "Did I make a mistake?"
Meanwhile, Hiro arrived in the forest suicide when a black curtain slowly closed the crystal Realm. He immediately ran towards it and tried to evade the realm but to no avail; when he wanted to touch it, he came face to face with a huge hooded figure. He was frozen in shock. He once saw this hooded figure behind Kaede when the boy was angry. He warned him not to interfere or it would kill him.
Hiro had never felt this intense fear from any dybbuk he had fought back then. He turns his back and walks to where Asahi is standing. The hooded figure has warned him to walk away, and its threat caused him to back away.
"Sensei?" Asahi gave Hiro a questioning look.
"We cannot interfere. It warned me," he answered him.
"Warned what? Sensei, Kaede is at-"
"No, he won't. Trust me," he answered and dropped down to sit and wait. Hiro is now convinced. Kaede has something menacing inside him. If he is correct, the thing inside him is a developed high-class Dybbuk who mastered the sealing technique unique to the Rodriguez Clan. And that made it dangerous.
"Are you giving up?" Kaede asked the humanoid after he kicked him, sending the humanoid away from him. "Are you? Are you?" he added and began to laugh maniacally.
The humanoid has to do something if he wants to avoid Kaede's normal attack with its polearm. It was his first time meeting someone who used this kind of weapon like he was playing it. Most of the members of Ryōshi he had faced were all brawlers or far-range weapon users such as bows. But this kid, did he accidentally awaken the power he has in him? No, he doubts it. The immense negative energy he smelled inside the kid wasn't his. It has to be one by someone else, and he woke it up.
"Boring," he heard Kaede insulting him. "You are a boring opponent," he added and suddenly appeared at least two meters away from him.
The humanoid backed away as Kaede started to attack him skillfully using his polearm. Kaede slid his right hand on the shaft of the deathmatch almost to its tip but gripped it hard and tried to hit him using its sharp double-blade spear connected to the shaft. The humanoid dodges it, preventing him from being cut by the spear, and instead of him, the spear hits the ground, making it explode. But Kaede isn't done yet. He jumped, performing a side flip with his hand that tightly gripped the deathmatch swung along with him, and it hit the humanoid's body, giving him a deep wound from his shoulder down to his left leg.
Kaede laughed again as if he enjoyed the humanoid bleeding from the wound he carved using his beloved polearm.
"Wonderful. Wonderful," he said.
The humanoid felt like the boy in front of him became insane. He even played with the blood that stained the blades of his polearm as if it was a playable liquid, which insulted the humanoid.
"Brat!" he shouted. He knew that this boy was only toying with him and that he could kill him without batting an eyelash. "Let's end this!"
Kaede looked at him fiercely. And he raised his right arm. A Polearm of any kind appears with the tip facing him over his head, and a black circle appears where the humanoid is standing. Suddenly a pair of hands grabbed him by his feet, preventing him from moving to escape.
"I would love playing with you more, but if that's what you want," he said. "You will die either way."
Kaede snapped his fingers, and all the polearms dropped down to the humanoid piercing him all over his body, ending his life.
Kaede walks towards him and smells the almost unrecognizable semi-dybbuk.
"You smell like shit," he commented, but he sipped the negative energy that burst from him when his polearms pierced the humanoid's body.
After sipping all the energy, Kaede felt good and satiated. He has never felt as good as this, and he is satisfied.
He then took his realm off, a big mistake when suddenly a red ball of energy hit him, prisoning him inside. Before he could even react, a chain attached to his body prevented him from moving.
"Oh, what the hell?" he said before looking at the two shamans standing before him.
"Who are you? Tell us your name!" Hiro said, trying to ask if Kaede was still in control of his body.
The figure wanted to finish Asahi, too, for being cocky towards Kaede, but since Kaede was detained, the figure chose to let Kaede out to answer the annoying question of the shaman.
"Uhm sensei? Why am I being tied down? What did I do?" Kaede innocently asks Hiro when he gains consciousness.
"You will detain Rodriguez until Shoma come back," Hiro said.
