Victor is a D rank who was betrayed and sacrificed by his friend Anne and Jake at a ritual of a demonic cult worshipping god of death Thanatos.

Victor had accepted his fate and was ready to die,but due to a grave blunder of one of the blood borne mages the spell goes haywire and then the blood and souls of all 23 people in the hall is absorbed by victor. After hours of uncontrollable pain and agony from the screaming of souls inside him, victor finally gets in control of his body. His eyes glow yellow and he now posses the thread of Atropos, which allows the user to cut the string of fate of the target AKA kill them by controlling the cause, time and place of their death.

this leads to his quest to get the world in the palm of his hands by manipulating the people who once viewed him as trash to complete his masterplan.
