As the participants who entered the red door, they found themselves in an arena, where the ground was full of sand, and the sun was currently at it's peak, which everyone there found the placing of the sun out place, since they were sure that it shouldn't have been there, but no one questioned it aloud, so it was mostly ignored.
"So many of you, choose to enter through this door, and for that I thank you. Now there are only a few things you should all know. Firstly it's impossible for you to die here, once wounds that could kill you are inflicted on your body, you will be teleported to a resting area for a for an hour, before being sent back to continue fighting." A voice said, in a monotone tone.
"Oh! and another thing, well it should be obvious by now, you will all be expected to fight, until the the required number of students are expected to pass is reached." The same voice said, yet again without a hint of any emotion.
"The last thing to know is, but the advice is of an old man, but all you have to do is outlast everyone, it doesn't matter how you do it." The voice said again, though in a louder tone then it had said earlier.
"NOW BEGIN!" The voice said, seemingly saying something for the last time.
Everyone looked at each other surprised, that they were all going to fight at the same time, though that lasted for a second, before all that could be heard was the clashing of steel.
Groups clashed against groups, individuals against individuals, and geniuses against geniuses.
Samui, himself was currently facing, five people at the same time. He moved as though he himself was one with the wind, and when he raised his bardiche, that had 3 feet long handle, all that was seen was it cutting through the flesh of the five, who had attacked him.
As soon as he took the head of one of them, the other four wasted no time and two tried to hit Samui at the same time while, their other group mate aimed at his front, with the last looking for an opening.
Though, to their surprise, he blocked one hit that was coming from his right by putting the, bardiche up to block, which he did successfully. His other arm had stopped, a blade that was about to something vital, the surprising thing being he stopped it with his bare hand.
The one in front of him wasted no time in trying to go for his heart, with the spear he had, but Samui had moved his body enough so it would hit his shoulder instead.
Samui had felt a rush of pain, but he wasted no time in crushing the blade of that was at his left, with his hand, after doing so a large amount of flames enveloped his body, before he launched himself at the one who had stabbed him though just as he was about to reach him a blade penetrated his back.
Impressively Samui had wasted no time and had increased the heat of the flames he had summoned. As he did he felt a body fall limp, then a second after the body had hit the ground, he stepped on it, and felt it disappear from himself.
Once he did, the flames around him seemed to embrace him as they took a dark shade blue, flames that were rarely seen even among great fire users.
Samui, then moved at speeds the remaining three were unable to react to, and with three strikes he sent their bodies flying into the air, before their bodies disappeared before hitting they ground.
In the arena everyone had stopped what they were doing to see a being covered in blue flames, Samui then speed up, and started cutting as many people as, he could while also using his wind magic to increase the range of his flames. His plan was spread his flames as much as possible in order to create chaos.
Screams then resounded in the arena that had now turned to chaos, everyone then looked to the one who'd summoned the blue flames, because they knew not handling that person could lead to many of them tiring themselves out.
So they waited for the flames to go out, but after minutes they didn't find anyone covered in the blue flames, nor did they find anyone who knew where that person was.
Most ended up assuming, that the person of the blue flames ended up hiding among them while they were distracted.
Samui, himself was in what seemed like a void with his clothes burned.
'I thought they were supposed to have fire resistance?' Samui, thought to himself as he looked at his burnt clothes. He then noticed his robe was also gone, but noted it was for the best, as people might realize it was him, who wielded those blue flames.
The dark void, was then filled with light, and once the light dissipated, Samui found himself in, white room with pillars all around. Samui observed his surrounding's, and he saw that everyone else's wounds were healed.
Even his wounds, were perfectly fine, though the same couldn't have been said for his magic reserves. Samui, then saw the five he fought earlier ,and noticed some of them didn't have any weapons which made, him realize that you only get transported with what you were holding.
Everyone who was currently in the room, was forming alliance's, Samui though didn't want to bother himself with that, so instead he simply went to the nearest, and closest pillar to observe everything from a distance.
